Re: Knightmare from Camelot sold?

The model in the article is Camelot's actual model of Knightmare, used in the coaster's first press announcement complete with the infamous medieval plug socket in the background. It makes sense as Southport have hoovered up lots of Camelot including Excalibur 2 and the diesel powered Dragon Coaster...

Re: Junker - Powerpark - Opening 2015

Wow I'm surprised by how big this coaster is turning out to be, it's huge! I'm a fan of its big swooshy elements, it reminds me a little of Karacho at Tripsdrill, which rides really nice and smooth unlike Takabisha, as mentioned above, in my experience of course. I guess I'm a fan of Gersty launcher...

Re: Thunderbird - Holiday World - Opening 2015

What a nice surprise. I'm looking forward to this one and the big swooshy elements over the trees and the top of Voyage. It kind of reminds me of Katun, in the way that its just a series of over-sized elements stitched together with very little filler track in-between, which is no bad thing in my op...

Re: Summer Sizzler 2014 - Reviews & Feedback

It was my first met up and I have to say what a weekend it was, I’ve had an absolute ball. The morning drinks in Dragon Bar were a great introduction and ice breaker, the entrance to the park through woodland walk was seamless and the Air XRT was a warm sunny tonic to the grey drizzly weather. I jus...

The old buttons used to get jammed easily, so the new design prevents that, hopefully new balls are on the way too

Wow! Awesome report and photos Martyn It's great that Camelot are coming back fighting, Knightmare is a fantastic addition to the park, hopefully it will get the park back on its feet A good lick of paint around the park and some new fences would go a very long way to help make this park magical aga...

It comes down to common sense, when you get on the ride you should pull your restraint closed, if you want to ride with your restraint up you're an idiot for risking your life, as its your own responsibility to look after yourself, as is deciding what to do with bags or loose articles I think it's i...

Visited Europa Park a few weeks ago, was a bit of a mad dash, flew there and back within two days Flight from Stansted to Baden Baden cost just over £30 with Ryan Air (including all the taxes and such). Got a shuttle bus service to the park which cost €31 return and went a bid mad and stayed at the ...

I think the current development of Lightwater Valley reflects the fact that the company that own it, Heritage GB are successful at developing attractions which commercialise famous landmarks, such as Lands End, Needles and Snowdon Mountain, needless to say people want to visit those places anyway, t...
