Re: The Haunted House Monster Party! - Opening Spring 2019

I really like the sound of this as I do like a Madhouse ride :)

Re: SP Spring Spectacular 2018 - Reviews & Feedback

I had an amazing day yesterday that was full of many highlights, starting with ERT on Dragon's Fury which was a great start to the day.  I really enjoyed myself and loved the MMM talk from Andy & Michelle - such a fascinating insight into the planning of Gruffalo and I loved the little details s...

Re: Towers Loving Care

I agree with you about the Duel soundtrack Lakey, it doesn't seem right to have different music and I'm not sure I like it but maybe I'll get used to it over time.

Re: Wicker Man Reviews & Discussion [SPOILERS]

I've also ridden a few GCI coasters and was really excited about going on a new one. I was glad I hadn't read any spoilers beforehand as everything about Wicker Man is impressive from the great way the queue line offers fab views of the ride to the fabulous pre show. The coaster itself is fantastic ...

Re: Chessington - General Discussion

I also went on Saturday and had a good day and only have a few little issues but can also appreciate that staff were new and have to have time to settle in. I had the same problem as Morgan in that I had to wait about 20 minutes for my food in the fish and chips place, which was annoying as some peo...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - The Future

Personally, I can't imagine Thorpe removing X especially after spending money to give it a Walking Dead theme.  Although it would be good to see a new ride in the place of Slammer.

Re: Th13teen - General Discussion

I wasn't sure about Thirteen when it first opened and over the years it's grown on me and I really like it now.

I also agree that it's always fun to ride with people who haven't been on it before and think that the drop section is the end of the ride! :)

Re: The Walking Dead: The Ride - New for 2018

On one hand I'm looking forward to finding out how the changes look in reality but a shame it won't be the "rave coaster" anymore.  I'm also not keen on the name, especially as it has "the" twice! but I guess they had to go with something as theparklifekid mentioned.

Were the restraints different? I'm not sure I knew that?

They were less bulky than they are now and much better in my view :)

Re: Colossus - General Discussion

It certainly hasn't aged very well and is a far cry from when it first opened - it was lovely and smooth then :) I also think the trains could do with sorting out as I always like to sit in the front of each carriage as there's more legroom, additionally, some less cumbersome restraints would be goo...

Re: Colossus - General Discussion

I agree, Thorpe definitely needs some "Thorpe Loving Care" and Colossus is one of the major rides to start with.  It is a shame to see it looking a bit neglected like it did last year but hopefully something will be done.

Re: Fright Nights

I'd also like Brave it alone to return as I think having it as an option improved FN for me as well as being a brilliant experience. The last few years FN hasn't lived up to expectations as has been pointed out so I hope Thorpe will put on a better event this year - including more theming throughout...

Re: The Alton Towers Park Map

I love how on the map fronm 1986 it even makes a reference to little things like the leapfrog fountains and some dinosaurs :) I didn't like the 2005/06 maps either and not a patch on the newer ones like last years which I think are a nicer thing to look at, especially if like me you try and keep the...

That would be quite hilarious to be honest! :D

Seriously though, it would be good to get Loggers Leap re-opened as it's one of my favourite log flumes :)
