I'm curious to see what the Walking Dead mazes will be like as I'm also fairly new to the show (just started season 4) and I'm hoping the new ones will be good. It is good that TP have gone in a different direction with FN but also I hope whatever changes they've made to Platform 15 will be better ...
Yeah I really want Colossos to stay as it's one of my favourite woodies and would be such a shame if it was to close. Plus I would like to return to Heide as a few things have been added since I visited and to have Colossos still part of the line-up would be great.
It is a shame because it takes away the character of the ride and it's not as impressive as it used to be. I guess Merlin have to distribute their budgets carefully but to have some TLC given to Vampire would be great.
I went on the new Ninjago ride last week and I have to say, I was really impressed and once I got used to using my hand instead of a laser gun, it was pretty simple and I think it's a great addition to the park.
What an amazing day full of fascinating facts and fun with fantastic people. The talk was really insightful and there was a lot to learn about the park and DBGT which was a great way to start the event. The tour of the Swarm workshop was also really interesting and talking to the engineers too as th...
I like that idea Tom, having monorail trains designed around the coasters would look nice and also give them a refresh. Also, if they were to do that, perhaps the windows could be made to be transparent as well so that you can get a better view of the park as you travel in the trains.
I love the idea of Mystic East receiving some TLC as it's overdue and will be nice to have some tigers to look at as well. Chessington has always been a pretty scenic park and this will be a nice addition.
I'm curious by this news from Thorpe but I think the world's first thing could be to do with DBGT too unless it's something temporary for the summer? I doubt it though but will be interested to see what it turns out to be.
It is disappointing that the deal with Paramount has ended but I guess it could open up other ideas for IPs that the developers might choose instead. I still hope this goes ahead and hopefully the planning application will be submitted as hoped.
I agree as it wouldn't make sense to have two coasters with the same theme so hopefully it will fit into its area with a suitable theme. There's certainly been a lot going on with construction and it will be interesting when more wood appears
I'd like to think that Merlin would come up with an original theme for SW8 but we'll just have to wait and see.But whatever the theming structure turns out to be, it'll certainly have a good near miss moment
