Re: Project Zer0 - Specu1ation

Why has this thread been unlocked? It has nothing to do with Thorpe Park.  It creates discussion, which is what online forums are all about ;) Some posts have been merged with this topic which didn’t belong in other areas of the forum, and we see no harm in unlocking this topic. If Project Zero doe...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

4pm closings this time of the year are absolutely insulting. They absolutely don't care for guests experience whatsoever, do they!? The fact that they extended opening due to poor ride availability isn't redeeming at all when the park should have been open until 5pm anyway, even without any problem...

Heide Park have released a video on their Facebook page providing an update on the refurbishment to Colossos, which is due to reopen next year. The below images are screen grabs from the video posted on the Theme Park Worldwide Facebook page. https://i.imgur.com/XsMTWCd.jpg https://i.imgur.com/OQRba...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

Ride close was probably extended due to the closures earlier in the day rather than it being extended because of guest numbers. Either way, it is good that Alton took action to give visitors an extra hour :) That was exactly why ride close was extended. At 12pm; Wicker Man, Rita, Nemesis and Enterp...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

Wicker Man’s reliability gremlins appear to have struck again over the past couple of days. Yesterday it was very late opening, and today it is yet to open. It saddens me to see such a well executed attraction having such extended downtime. Yes, it’s a brand new coaster and teething issues are expec...

Re: Colossus

It must be a fairly major issue if they’ve had to close off the pathway.

It makes you wonder if they’ve discovered some structural issues with the track and/or supports, which require vehicle access to resolve?

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

Thorpe Park have updated their website with some more information on Zombie Hunt, which will run between 21st July-3rd September. A hoard of zombies has invaded the woodland on the outskirts of THORPE PARK Resort – and we need your help to hunt them down before we have an epidemic on our hands! Grab...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

Alton Towers have extended ride close to 5pm today after having some issues with ride availability this morning.

Thankfully, RideTimes is showing that every attraction is currently available.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

Hi everyone, going on a school day trip next Monday all the way down from Scotland. As you can probably imagine, it's quite an extensive trip, we have to leave at 1am to get to the park on time lol. I wanted to know what the best order is to complete the main 7, along with Katanga Canyon, Hex and D...

Re: FIA Formula One World Championship - General Discussion

Aston Martin Red Bull Racing have announced that, from the 2019 season, they will be running Honda engines instead of Renault. I actually don’t think this is a bad move. McLaren don’t seem to be making the progress they had hoped with Renault, and the Honda power unit seems to be performing much be...

Going on Wednesday and need to know if I should bother heading to WickerMan during ERT.

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Insidious: The Last Key - 6/10 I’ll be honest, I’m not a massive fan of the Insidious films. I’m a bit of a wuss when it comes to films like this, give me a SAW film anyday! However, having watched the previous three films, we thought we would watch the latest instalment. It started off strong with ...

Re: Scarefest

While I would love to see a new maze, I don’t think it will happen. I’m expecting an event very similar to last year, with potentially some minor alterations to the routes of the mazes. The biggest thing for me will be Alton ensuring the have the optimum number of actors on board. Last year, the lac...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

I'm not certain either, but when you look it up online, this pops up https://www.towerstimes.co.uk/theme-park/transportation/woodland-walk/ . It seems to be closed at this moment in time, but if it was open and I was to guess, I think it's a separate entrance since it says you'd enter at Forbidden ...

Given there have been two seperate instances of Thorpe Park, or employees at the resort, confirming this as being fake, we have decided to lock this topic. If anything credible comes out in the future that could be related to this, we may consider unlocking it, but for now.... [locked] EDIT 23/06/20...

Better late than never, but I just want to start by thanking everyone for coming! The event itself was fantastic, and it was really great to see both new and existing members getting to know each other and not splintering off into different groups, which really emphasises the sense of community we h...

At the time of writing; Enterprise, Oblivion, Th13teen, The Smiler, Congo River Rapids, Heave Ho and Runaway Mine Train are unavailable. Comin...
