Re: Drayton Manor

James and the Red Balloon makes its way to The Island of Sodor, and you can meet him from April 2017. With all the whistles & toots make sure you are one of the first to ride our amazing new ride. This exciting new Balloon ride will take Thomas fans high up in the air above Thomas Land. It looks...

Re: The Future Of Charlie And The Chocolate Factory; The Rid

Merlin just look at IP's and see ££££. They tried it with Nemeses Sub terra and failed and now we got Ice age and CBeebies in the park.
There even taking over at Chessington and Thorpe Park.

Re: Drayton Manor

I see that Drayton Manor is adding even more rides to Thomas land this season. Quote off the Drayton Manor website: Drayton Manor park may be closed but the engines are busier than ever on the Island of Sodor. Make sure you sign up to be the first in the know when we announce who is coming to Sodor ...

Drayton Manor really got some big plans for the future The rumours of a new coaster for 2018 is really picking up. The Flying Dutchman is all in pieces http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r280/djsavo81/Mobile%20Uploads/2016-10/B5166A1E-F1CD-459F-BA38-FACA82094791_zpsc3oxvmsc.jpg http://i146.photobuck...

Re: The Future of Nemesis Sub-Terra

All theses rides are closed cause of 2 things: 1) The amount of staff they take to operate 2) To keep the bills down Just thinking on Sub terra you got 1 outside. 1 sorting out the queue to enter the building. Then you got another just inside shouting where to stand and giving you orders. There must...

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

I can prove how much of a impact the Smiler had on families. Back in July I had a Sun free ticket the wife couldn't go in the end as she was recovering from a op. I offered the ticket to work collages and my friends and most said you never get me back there again. So I took my 4 year old and if it w...

Re: Forbidden Valley Future

I think now the theme does work with Galactica. I not been on it yet but it does suit Forbidden valley now. If it wasn't for copyright laws I would rename it forbidden Planet. The rocks, props and red water I always felt You been on another planet for the past 22 years.

Re: What will Alton Towers be like in 50 years?

Well ticket prices will be just over £100 each on the gate for adults and about £95 for 4-11 year olds. So a day out for a family of 4 even if 2 for 1 tickets are still around will be £200 then you got parking which could be £20 by then. With petrol and a meal in the park for 4 you got to be looking...

Re: 2017: New Attractions

I thought i was getting a flat ride the park desperately needs, but no, it's the return of Bouncing Bugs!! Looking at the shape of the cars we can see from the plans, my best guess is that it will be a Go Jetters ride. http://www.bbc.co.uk/cbeebies/shows/go-jetters" onclick="window.open(this.href);...

Re: Future of Towers Street

I reckon just like during the fireworks event have multiple exits around the park that only open after the rides close. Like in FV you exit by Air and KC&GW you can exit either into the coach park or back of Duel. For CCL,DF,XS and CB you use the main entrance.

Re: Towers Loving Care

I looked at the work the TLC team done so far around the resort and it looks good but looks so out of place with the rest of the buildings as the Iceage painted buildings look so badly faded and cracking. I don't understand why they still need the old Nickelodeon theming on the buildings.

Re: 2017: New Attractions

I went to Alton Towers with my 4 year old yesterday so ended up spending a good full 3 hours in CBeebies you should have seen her face how happy she was on the rides and meeting the stars of the shows. I can understand them wanting to build a indoor entertainment area as with the rain yesterday afte...

Re: The Next Big Attraction

On a update version of the park map they renamed the area loggers leap in as old town they also removed the ride off the map and listed area under development so this looks like the next big ride for Thorpe park in 2018.

It's been a while since there was a post for the American Adventure but I came across a petition to reopen the American adventure even if it means at another site. https://www.change.org/p/derbyshire-county-council-relocate-rebuild-and-reopen-the-american-adventure-theme-park" onclick="window.open(t...
