Re: Winter Wonderland - Hyde Park

Yeah its all very easy. If you plan on staying at WW until quite late try and plan to walk to a different tube station that is a bit further as Hyde Park Corner and Marble Arch are usually rammed from about 4/5pm onwards because of WW. You can get pretty much anywhere in london with the tube and a b...

Re: Winter Wonderland - Hyde Park

You can also pay the tube via contactless or Apple pay and you will only ever be charged tube costs up until you hit the travelcard price. Also WW is better to do when it first opens as longer ride cycles in the flats and less people

Re: SW8 Speculation and Discussion

Given that a lot of things have already hinted towards it, it is highly likely, but until its confirmed by the park themselves than it is still purely speculation. I have also been following all the news and am well aware of all the mentions to Wickerman.

I take everything said about this ride with a pinch of salt as Towers have been known in the past to send enthusiasts down the wrong p...

Re: SW8 Speculation and Discussion

I hate to be this person, but i'm going to be, but if it was 100% than surely the park would have already confirmed all this information given its their big new roller coaster and would want to create hype for it, or have I missed that announcement

The following image was posted onto twitter earlier today with the following caption -  Don't touch the plant... https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DG8ZpAJXoAAdGkr.jpg:large Now, i'm going to speculate that the story of this will be that a plant has taken over the creepy caves, although i'm not quite sure ...

Re: Scarefest

I didn't visit Scarefest last year and have the memory of a goldfish so didn't think. I do like that they are slowly drip feeding us information on social media regarding this. Hopefully it means the full line up will be announced very soon, if not at the weekend.  Also CVD, they put on social media...

Re: Thorpe Park Merchandise

I know what these things are. They aren't new and have been available for quite some time in the shops. They have recently expanded this range to now include some plush toys, but i wouldn't refer to them as mascots.

Re: Scarefest

Also Rapids have always opened late as its always one of my favourite things to do in the dark, plus what S.J_O'Grady has said with it being attractions and not rides, that is the mazes added in too, so yeah, it is over 20 attractions, so yeah, stop being moody :lol

Re: Scarefest

Basically It's all backwards and the world should end :lol

But in serious, ScareTour know their stuff so I would listen and respect what they have to say. My post was already replied too by quite a few people so deleting it wouldn't have made sense neither would editing so it had to stay.

Re: Scarefest

Do you think we will see anything special done by the resort given its technically the 10th Scarefest?

Re: Fright Nights

:lol Haven't they already invaded

I think the only reason they are making a big deal out of Cabin is because it was a very popular maze. I think it also confirms that whatever is invading is going to be in the Cabin location

ScareTrack announced that Tulley's have revealed there 2017 line up with Hellements is no longer in the line up. Coven of 13 and PanDEMONium's 3D Carnival have been renamed to The Twisted Clowns and Coven - The Village. Also a new maze is in the line up, VIXI.

It will be very interesting to see what they do with Howl'o'ween. I doubt we will see anything too scary given its Chessington though, so don't expect anything too major.

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

I've only just watched the Power Rangers film and I am going to give it 8.5/10 The story is ok, nothing mind blowing, but the banter and references are brilliant. I had a major geek out while watching this film. Elizabeth Banks steal's the show as Rita Repulsa. It was just a fun film to watch. Also ...

Re: SW8 Speculation and Discussion

Whislt I agree its a great theory, i'm still not convinced. I would like to think it would be as obvious as that, but this is Merlin/Alton Towers. They like to keep things secretive, which is very annoying. I'm just not convinced that they would give us such a full blown obvious link this early

I believe (But could be very wrong) that the path was only closed for a few hours and reopened that same day once the bents had been installed.
