Re: The London Dungeon

I think its an additional scene as its in between Jack the Ripper and The Courtroom, which in normal mode, Jack the Ripper is before The Courtroom

Re: The London Dungeon

The London Dungeons are hosting Summer Frights, a special 18+ summery lates on selected dates in the evenings. I went to this last night and can honestly say its really good. It is scarier than the normal run to the point I made some noises and jumped a few times, the script is quite adult and it ha...

Re: Scarefest

I think Scarefest is in for a real shake up this year and i'm quite excited at the prospect of it. I'm super excited about House of Monsters getting extended. Its the highlight of Scarefest for me. It was about time TotT got removed. It got a bit stale and bit boring. I am intrigued by what Project ...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Red Sparrow - 9/10 I really enjoyed this film. Jennifer Lawrence is always a plus in my opinion as I think she is a wonderful actress and she is able to portray a Russian spy very well. It has a very good story and it keeps you guessing right until the end and it has some wonderfully talented actors...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

I wouldn't say its impossible as its quite hard to see whats happening in the building or behind it, so its possible, but it is very unlikely given the nerds are out in force at the park from now until September :lol

It looks bloody awesome. Energylandia have really been spending the money in recent years on their park and it’s they have really become a park that many enthusiasts want to visit .

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

Thinking about it, Charlie technically has two things seen in other Dungeons, primarily the London one. The boat ride and the elevator. It’s possible they could reverse the boat ride and instead you enter via what was the exit for Charlie and then they use the elevators to represent the descent part...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

Where do we think the budget will come from for this. Will it come from the Dungeons budget or will it be the AT budget?

What everyone else has said really. You won't regret it. Best thing I ever did was attend one of these events. Everyone is lovely and so welcoming. After 5 minutes of nerves, you will feel like you're part of the family :)

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

I agree that there is no reason why it can't be run like a theme park attraction. At its essence, its basically IAC or DBGT. Guests move from room to room and it all moves relatively smoothly. But given its a Dungeons brand in the AT brand, the question has arisen as to how entry will be run. They c...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

The London Dungeons are prebook for MAP holders. Its so you can guarantee your entry into the attraction. Its also not been confirmed that it will be in the CATCF building (To my knowledge) and that anywhere is still fair game. Sub and CATCF seem the likely locations and ones that many seem to think...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

It depends on which shows they have. If they go for the generic shows, than don't bother going as you will have already seen them. But they may do new shows for just the AT one, so that would be a reason to experience it.

Re: Colossus

It is quite an old coaster. It is 16. (That makes me feel old). It's Thorpe's oldest big coaster. It really needs either a massive upgrade or a replacement.

The Swarm is just an awesome coaster.  I agree, it is severely under rated. Its such a fun coaster and that first drop has such a buzz for me.

Re: Merlin Entertainments file a UK trademark for ‘The Alton Towers Dungeon’

They have quite a few places they could put it. Charlie building or Sub building seem likely. I hope they don’t just do the generic Dungeon shows. I hope they intertwine some AT lore into the shows or introduce new shows based on AT lore as I think that would be quite a unique selling point to a Tow...
