Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

I'd say it won because it is actually quite an impressive attraction underneath it all. Its a very technical attraction and I would say it actually deserves to recognized for it. I won't deny its had issues, but it is getting a lot better. Given that a lot of the technology has either never been use...

Re: End of Season Review 2017

I only visited Alton Towers twice this year. Once for TowersTimes TTSP@15 event and once for TowersTimes Scaremazing event and I must say it does look like AT is coming back. I think its had a rough couple of years and its finally turning itself around. The park seems tidier and seems a lot more ele...

Re: A Picture A Day

So, shall we revisit this topic to make closed season less depressing. I think this time we should have a weekly theme. So shall we start with Inversions!

Re: Future of the Monorail

I'm going to be different and say I quite like the monorail just the way it is. Given I don't visit the park often, I still get really excited to go on the monorail and get to the park by it. Its a lovely way to start the day being able to sort of see the rides. I think they need to update the train...

Re: Fireworks

I don't think this year had a story line. Watching on Youtube as i'm miles away, I would say it was more people sharing memories of what the rides and the park mean to them and I think it was more exciting to the geeks than to the GP as it has a proper retro vibe and the legend that is Mr John Wardl...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

I'm sure discussion will continue on SW8 and on all things theme park over the closed season. Just because the season ends, it doesn't mean the passion and enthusiasm ends too. And even though we can't see what's happening, AT will up their marketing game, so there will always be clues and hints to ...

Re: Tulley's Shocktoberfest

ScareTOUR reported last that Tulley's will be introducing a 9th maze to next year's line up and that it will be themed to a prison/jail. It does however look like that sign may have been there since they opened and no one actually noticed :lol https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/23167520_1...
