Re: Scarefest

I agree that its time to TotT to be updated, but at the same time I like it. They could easily keep it as it is and change the scares. Imagine how many people would scream if one of the statues was actually real :lol  Sub desperately needs something done to it. It fell quite flat last year for me an...

Re: The Swarm

It could have been planned maintenance that they knew would cause the ride to open later and so therefore thought it was a better approach to say it was opening at 11. I wouldn't read to much into it for now. If it continues to say it everyday for the next week or so, that's when you have to worry.

European Road Trip

Hey. So I'm planning my first overseas adventure and I'm thinking of doing a European road trip through Belgium, Holland and the top end of Germany (because Phantasialand) and I'm basically looking for any advice anyone can give. Any parks that I should look at doing that aren't obvious, any hotels ...

Re: Europa Park

Whilst the fire was terrible, one thing I did notice was how stunning some of the pictures looked that were coming from social media on the day of the fire. It is such a shame that this happened to what everyone calls a magnificent park and I'm glad to hear that plans are already being planned to ge...

Re: Not So Sweepstake

As we had the camp and magnificent Eurovision not so sweepstake, I guess we should have a sport one, so how does the World Cup sound. It starts in exactly 3 weeks and that is as far as my football knowledge goes. It will be run in the same way as the Eurovision one, with countries being drawn from a...

Re: Scarefest

I am rather intrigued by this. Normally Towers don't start on SF construction until later in the year, so the fact it has already started is both exciting and confusing. I hope the work starting early on Sub Species means something positive is going to happen to it. It needs a bit of a reworking as ...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

The Commuter - 7.5/10 Its actually rather good. Liam Neeson is an actor who when he gets it right, he gets it right. Plus Vera Famiga plays the baddie role so well, not just in this, but in general. Its worth a watch if you have nothing else to do. The Post - 7/10 A good film about The Washington Po...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

Going back in conversaion slight (sorry). I tried a couple of dishes from the small plates selection of Sticky Sisters. Honestly, I wasn't overlly impressed. I had the halloumi bites, nacho's and breaded chicken tenders and I was quite dissappointed. The halloumi bites were very nice but there was l...

Re: The Walking Dead: Living Nightmare Extreme

I got to experience this on Saturday and I thought it was bloody brilliant. Without giving anything away, there are a couple of changes which work, a shed load of actors and quite intense. I recommend it!
