Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

I only did it in 2015 and 2017 and both times were with TowersTimes, and I have to say that 2017 was so much better for me. 2015 I had a really bad run last thing and it sort of fell a bit flat. But 2017 I had some bloody good runs on it and made to jump and I even screamed once I think?

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

What would be incredible and very clever and charming is to use the Alton Ancestors and put them up in the windows :lol

Re: Evermore

Oh wow, this looks absolutely stunning. It looks like it could become really personal the more you visit and love the idea of guilds. Its sort of merging Role Playing with games like Fable and Skyrim to create a world that could be quite magical. I bet this would be stunningly eerie during Halloween.

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

Assuming this theory is correct, which is highly unlikely, I could see it happening at the front. I'm no expert on the towers ruins, and I'm purely just assuming there is access to some or all the windows that face the lake, but its always good to speculate (and wish)!

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

On the one hand, I think a Dungeons would work really well at AT. Yes its technically another brand and will probably be upcharge, but Dungeons are quite a popular historical educational attraction and could probably get extra income during open season from schools, as some school trips do try to ad...

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

It's not impossible as the break rooms for the three mazes last year were upstairs in the towers ruin, and the Sub actors used to stand at the windows and stare at guests, just to freak them out. All you would need is two/three people to wander around going to random windows at different times. It w...

Re: Project 42 (Nemesis Sub-Terra) - New for Scarefest 2018

A big question I have is will the maze use the bottom of the hole or will it just be the top. I mean, there had to be stairs somewhere in the attraction just in case they needed to evac the ride at the bottom.

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

So reading the Scarefest website, and it could just be I'm reading more than what is actually there but this line:  Our multi award winning scare mazes have been re-scarified for this year and we are adding another NEW maze to the line up Does this hint that we could potentially see a few changes to...

Re: The London Dungeon

The London Dungeons are hosting Summer Frights, a special 18+ summery lates on selected dates in the evenings. I went to this last night and can honestly say its really good. It is scarier than the normal run to the point I made some noises and jumped a few times, the script is quite adult and it ha...

Re: Scarefest

I think Scarefest is in for a real shake up this year and i'm quite excited at the prospect of it. I'm super excited about House of Monsters getting extended. Its the highlight of Scarefest for me. It was about time TotT got removed. It got a bit stale and bit boring. I am intrigued by what Project ...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Red Sparrow - 9/10 I really enjoyed this film. Jennifer Lawrence is always a plus in my opinion as I think she is a wonderful actress and she is able to portray a Russian spy very well. It has a very good story and it keeps you guessing right until the end and it has some wonderfully talented actors...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

I wouldn't say its impossible as its quite hard to see whats happening in the building or behind it, so its possible, but it is very unlikely given the nerds are out in force at the park from now until September :lol

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

Thinking about it, Charlie technically has two things seen in other Dungeons, primarily the London one. The boat ride and the elevator. It’s possible they could reverse the boat ride and instead you enter via what was the exit for Charlie and then they use the elevators to represent the descent part...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

Where do we think the budget will come from for this. Will it come from the Dungeons budget or will it be the AT budget?
