The Final Cut will be a special Fright Fest burger sold for the event, much like RCR's Pulled Pork Devil Firecracker burger which is sold at Scarefest.

Indeed, however s-x-s was talking about the Final Cut cinema located in the Angry Birds theatre! ;)

Re: Fright Nights

But the idea of both systems is to make sure you aren’t waiting hours for a maze, so from that point of view they act as more or less the same thing.

Re: Fright Nights

Outrageous. They are really taking advantage! I don't agree with this price hike, especially when everything was hiked up last year!! It is becoming out of the reach of so many. I know they have to retain their exclusivity but last year's price was bad enough! To be fair this falls inline with the ...

Re: Scarefest

Some more information has came out about The Welcoming... The woods surrounding the village of Alton harbor a mysterious group, which until recent sightings were unseen by the modern world. Whispers around the village say that the group are angered by people abusing the world’s natural resources and...

Re: SW8 Speculation and Discussion

I'd personally much rather it not be an animatronic, I feel like we could see a much more impactful effect using various show effects on the statue, something I think we should probably expect at this point :P

Re: SW8 Speculation and Discussion

Indeed, SW8 is expected to feature 12 row trains :)

They are also expected to feature 'Wicker effect' theming!

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Ahaha it's fine, I was just a bit confused.

Whilst I'm not thrilled by the layout, I'm sure that this attraction will be impressive from a theming and story telling perspective ;)

Definitely more detailed than the Marmaliser!

Sorry but I don't really get what you mean? Unless I'm missing something a few wooden beams shaped to a point is hardly more detailed than the entire marmaliser is it? :lol

Re: Universal Orlando Resort

Insiders are now claiming Pitch Perfect too, I'd imagine the cast of vocalists would be able to rotate. It's also interesting that there is a rumour that this new show will implement Dynamic Attractions motion theatre product , which could see the show having the audience rotated and moved whilst wa...

Re: Universal Orlando Resort

Apparently the three rumours are currently Bourne, Bond or Pitch Perfect - Pitch Perfect being strongest due to the popularity of the street show and it being a Universal franchise. :)

Re: Universal Orlando Resort

As sad as it is I am glad it's gone. On closing day the attraction was walk on - literally. I had to wait longer for a locker than I did to go on both sides of the coaster. I have some photos to upload once I have arrived in the UK. :) Construction had already begun behind the station a few days bef...

Re: Fright Nights

An IP maze can be just as good as a non-IP maze in my opinion. They don't have to follow any story lines however they can utilise characters and recognisable events from the IP's so in that sense the only difference is one has the theme development done for it and the other hasn't. That being said I...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Must admit, SW8's marketing isn't inspiring hope in me at this point. They seem to have no focus just yet. They started with the dark/mysterious tease at the end of the National Rollercoaster Day video, then released a re-edit of the RCR video, then announced the adult based maze and now release thi...

Re: Fright Nights

Thorpe are running a promotion for FRIGHT NIGHTS alongside Andy Muschetti's upcoming IT where if you buy a ticket in advance to see the movie you will also receive a 2 for 1 voucher for FRIGHT NIGHTS! One would hope this would hint toward a new partnership between Thorpe and New Line but I doubt it ...
