Re: Scarefest

Seeing as I did a review of FN, I thought I would review my visit and the 4 main mazes. The day was just like any other scarefest visit. Lighting was much better and apparent this weekend compared to the last. This visit did include the traveling community and as many of you have stated, it wasn't t...

Re: Fright Nights

Been meaning to write this for a few days so here it is. I was at the Fright Nights opening day on the 29th of September and got to experience 5 of the scare attractions that was available (excluding Containment). These were also my first scare attractions I had ever done so my nerves and expectatio...

Re: Fright Nights

Having been to the opening on Friday, the maze queues peaked at 1 hour, as the same with the rides. This will obviously get busier throughout the event period but Friday if it's a school day will be less busy compared to a Saturday or sunday

Re: Album's You've Heard and Your Review

Haven't done an album review in a while so thought I would review one of my most anticipated albums of this year. Enter Shikari - The Spark http://assets.blabbermouth.net.s3.amazonaws.com/media/entershikarisparkcd.jpg As you can probably tell from my custom signature and avatar, I am a massive fan o...

Re: Scarefest

Wouldn't the food stalls be in the way if the queue was to go that side? Also, I think it was reported in a write up that the entrance would be on Towers Street by Birmingham Mail? Overall, I'm looking forward to it! I must not have seen that article in that case! Was thinking with the food stalls ...

Re: Scarefest

So over the weekend I was on site and saw the construction of "The Welcoming" for the first time. Below are pictures of what could be the pre show or finale. After discussing with another member, we think it could be a finale with a burning scene and that you exit (or even chased out) the ...

Re: Fright Nights

More details have been revealed... They will join other survivors on the brink of...

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

Legacy could be referring to the new Saw: Legacy AKA Jigsaw film, suggesting a possible revamp for saw alive for 2018. They won't invest any further in Saw Alive.  Not after what was said at the Summer Sizzler regarding the boat! The only thing I could think is just maybe little nods to the new fil...

Re: Scarefest

Would they really use the stage area as part of the route, or will it just be the skull lit up with it being visible from inside the maze? With it being called The Welcoming: Be Chosen I'd probably wager an actor will be on stage where the group congregates to perhaps listen to some story thing or ...

Re: Scarefest

Just got some general updates from construction for the scare mazes this year. Sub species does indeed look to be an altered route. The outside containers seems to have extended with a white wall blocked the exit. Wire can be seen peaking below and on top of the white wall with cameo materials seen ...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Was on site in the afternoon for a few hours today so wanted to get an update on SW8. Will be doing these updates for the next few months hopefully as often as possible. It's been amazing to see how much progress has been made in just under 2 months since my last visit. Enjoy these photos! (these we...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Just a quick couple of reviews: War for the planet of the apes: 7.5/10 Great film and awesome special effects used. First 30/45 minutes do drag but besides this a great film. Dunkirk: 9.5/10 Simply put, this is the movie of the year. Nolan has created a stunning movie and i cannot say anymore than t...

Re: Thorpe Park - The Future

I'm not sure what has been said about the summer attraction, but whilst on site today where containment has been. The tent that is nearby is full of equipment used inside of the attraction like props and tables. Does this mean containment could be housing something soon before fright nights or maybe...

Re: SP Summer Sizzler 2017 - Reviews & Feedback

So being my second event. I was more confident this time around and I've got to say, this event was fantastic. The early morning talk was great. Lots of interesting information about Derren Brown, Saw, future development and more. It was great and awesome to see old ride props inside also! (Ps: than...
