Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train - Rise Of The Demon

I've been able to experience DBGT a couple of times this season and yes whilst there has been changes, the attraction does require some more work. The middle section action season is extremely hit and miss, the first time I did it, we completely missed out on any of the audio and and effects which w...

Re: The Walking Dead: The Ride - New for 2018

So having experienced the ride a few times now, I'm actually really pleased with what's been done with the ride. The overall experience is effective and I do feel it's a good all around ride. The theming is great, the ride itself is jam packed and the intensity is just right. Coming from me who has ...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

Quantum has had scaffolding around it for a few weeks and is in the same condition so I can only assume that yes it needs a part as the supports which work the ride are exposed from the theming. I did see some staff at one point today inspecting the ride. As well as this, Rush was running on one arm...

I'm not sure if this was mentioned, but It looks like the Bush BBQ is going to be rebranded to "Sticky Sisters" with no real idea on what it will offer.

Re: FIA Formula One World Championship - General Discussion

I have followed Hamilton since he won his first championship in 2008 and he is a talented driver, but recently he has got arrogant and its not good to see. I would really like to see Mclaren hit the heights they use to see back in the day. Its sad to see a team with a great history suffer in the las...

Re: FIA Formula One World Championship - General Discussion

I was impressed with Gasly's performance in Bahrain, like you said it was helped by other driver retirements. I do think the top 3 teams are a lot closer now in comparison to the last few years. I do hope it is a close season no matter who the drivers are, it's great to see a real battle between dri...

Re: SP Spring Spectacular 2018 - Reviews & Feedback

Fantastic event as always, made my first trip to Chessington special. The ride ERT was awesome and couldn't fault the operation. The presentation by MMM was extremely insightful towards the creative process of The Gruffalo ride. The Temple takeover was extremely intense and I've never felt so scared...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - Quick Questions

I’m trying to buy the Thorpe Park CD on the Imascore website using Sterling, but its only available with Euros. Does anyone know how to change it? I think if you pay via PayPal they automatically convert it to euros for you. I'm not sure how it works when using debit/credit cards but I know using P...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

I'm struggling to understand why a GCI woody with a fairly straight forward lay-out is having so many technical issues. You can understand it with new tech (like with Air), but it seems a bit baffling that they're having so many issues with this. Apparently it is overshooting, every time it does th...

Re: Wicker Man Reviews & Discussion [SPOILERS]

Wicker Man may not be the most intense or revolutionary ride at Alton Towers but the whole ride experience goes hand in hand with the preshow and ride to create something that is truly different. The whole queue line is great with the close interactions with the ride, the landscape around is more ap...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

I really like the tone of it and the music used up until the end of when the actore kneel in front of the Wicker Man, The long note of music really adds to it, I personally don't like the rest of it but it's typical Towers. The first half is mysterious and eerie, It really adds to the tension. I do ...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

Think it reached 2 hours advertisited yesterday but was less when actually queueing, bearing in mind this was a soft opening mid week. A weekend will be much busier than this, I would say between 2-3 hours but again this is speculation
