Re: The Future of Nemesis Sub-Terra

The actors were removed from the final section before the ride closed. The only Phalanx operators in role were in the preshow, although this was more for batching. There were also hosts in the ride area, therefore, the number of people operating it had been reduced. I really hope it makes a return ...

Re: The Future of Nemesis Sub-Terra

I do think if N:ST was to open again (this year, next year, whenever) it will not have actors in. We have seen what's happened with attractions that require actors (Saw Alive, I'm a Celebrity) and how quickly they are turned into seasonal attractions. I know that this isn't a dedicated maze unlike t...

Re: Phantasialand Wintertraum 2017-18 Trip Review

I'm probably showing my age here, but Temple of the Night Hawk did used to have a space theme and that did work much better than its current incarnation. I do suspect that the are that houses Temple of the Nighthawk and the Hollywood Ride will be next for redevelopment after FLY. Really nice trip r...

Re: Phantasialand Wintertraum 2017-18 Trip Review

Sounds a good place to go, I noticed you disliked two rides what do you think could be done to improve them? I think for Temple, If you add some light inside for some themeing and a bit more of a story it would improve it some more. For the Hollywood Ride, if they just maintained it better and adde...

Re: What are you listening to?

Don Broco... Alot of Don Broco. Their new album is released at the beginning of next month and it's certainly taking a heavier tone but sounds awesome. Definitely recommend them for their old material for the funky, upbeat songs. Their new stuff if you like a heavier style whilst retaining some funk...

Re: Wicker Man Area Speculation and Discussion

This is more related I think to the area so I'll post it here. I did message Alton Towers about The Welcoming, asking if it would be returning since we have seen from various pictures it is still standing. This was the responce, I have replied asking if it would be the start of season but there are ...

Re: Scarefest Mazes for First timers

Since I originally I opened this topic, I have done scare mazes at both Alton Towers and Thorpe Park. For anyone who is in the situation that I was in, I have a few tips and advice for anyone wanting to brave the mazes that have probably been said already but helped me. If you're going to try one fo...

Re: SW8 Speculation and General Discussion

Thinking along the lines of something happening in that enclosed section - we know from the plans that there is expected to be some form of preshow. What if this pre-show is the start of the ritual The Beornen make you a part of. Riding the coaster is the main section of the ritual, then the enclos...

Re: SW8 Area Speculation and Discussion

At Scaremazing this year during the SW8 presentation, I did ask the question of "will mutiny bay be rethemed?", to which I was told simply "no". Whether this is the actual answer or they are holding back on what lies for MB I don't know. If it was the case, surely some work on th...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Star Wars: Episode 8 - The Last Jedi   -   7/10 I'm not a massive SW fan having only seen Episode 7 & Rogue One, but i did enjoy the film, it had good action, great characters and felt like a solid film. I think it was decent enough but again, I'm not a massive fan so as a causal movie watcher I...
