Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

At a guess, the park should be reasonably quiet on the Thursday.  The Friday last year turned out to be quiet busy (and the traveller community turned up, but might be different this year)

Re: Ride Downtime

I'm hearing reports that the RMT is going to be closed for the next 4 weeks due to maintenance  Where did you hear this? I'm visiting in 2 weeks. I doubt we'll get any answers from the park. Alton have been full of either contradicting or vague answers lately I think I saw someone posted on the MAP...

Re: Scarefest

The disabled toilets are better accessed from inside the court yard.  As a Male carer for my wife, it's going to be awkward pushing my wife in her wheelchair all the way though either of the male or female toilets I can understand that. However, I imagine AT will have something in place as an alter...

Re: Scarefest

So what are the ticketing options for annual passholders with this new maze? A 3 maze ticket with AP discount is £16 and a 4 maze ticket is £28. It appears that there is no discount on 4 maze tickets so are they expecting us to pay £12 more for one maze? As a side note, I'm very excited for this Sc...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

http://i.imgur.com/cheqTJe.jpg This photo is confusing me, there are two bents going off into two directions (after the drop into the pit) but in the plans it does not show track to be in that location, I'm trying to get my head around it??? Unless that section is after it goes through the theming ...

Re: Scarefest

Riding the Rapids in the Dark was on of my highlights, it's a shame that their new H&S policy put a stop to that during the middle of last years Scarefest.

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

I also think it looks like a burnt ship! Ship=pirates=mutiny bay=mutiny bay themed coaster=return of pirate show...please? So you want the most ideal end game of SW8 construction to be the return of the Pirate Show? Sorry but, no :P While I agree that I think the theming element will have a burnt/c...
