Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Welcome to the forums Colin :D

Anyway SW8 is looking great. The layout might not be the strongest for GCI but it will certainly be a great addition to Towers. I'm just wondering what the top speed of this thing will be; usually GCI coasters have a good pace.

Re: Project 2020

I may be looking into this but they could've chosen any random road and put Thorpe Park 2020 on it. It looks like they have purposly selected Meydan Bridge to hint the fact that the coaster (which it is most likely to be) will contain airtime leading to me thinking its gunna be a Woodie or B&M h...

Re: The Next Big Attraction

I highly doubt that the next coaster could be over 200ft as of yet. Im not to sure when the track length limit ends but anyway. If it were to be on the island behind Swarm, then it could potentially hold a height of 130-150 ft. I have a feeling that it'll either be a mack mega coaster or another B&a...

Re: Thorpe Park - The Future

Okay I've been thinking of the possible areas for new coasters at the park along with some new flatrides (This is very hypothetical). First of all I think the main priority of the park should be doing a TLC scheme like Alton is doing. Colossus and Nemesis Inferno are both in need of sprusing up. Col...

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

No, Loggers leap has been removed from the ride line up. I might be looking into this way too deep but I think we're going to see the removal of loggers either for new island development or a new coaster.

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

There is a bus link from heathrow to Feltham train station, which is 2 short stops to staines. You can then chatch the thorpe park express ... Cheers :-) It's looking like it's gonna be a Gatwick job though :-/ Flights are a bit steep just for the day down to Heathrow as Ryanair/Flybe and Easyjet d...

Can I have a Nemesis and Nemesis Inferno on with the transition saying RG100 with both coaster together? Thankyou.

Re: Colossus

I agree with Ryan, although im 5'11 I find Colossus to be smooth. I dont think it has anything to do with the track, its more to do with the trains. Holding your head back is alot better than foreward because on colossus you experience Lat and Vert G's which cause you to move around alot and hit you...

Re: RG100 NO LIMITS 2 RECREATIONS

Having only a few screenshots to go on it looks very good so far, but I'm not sure about the interlocking corkscrews, especially the first one. Other than that it looks solid! Have you got any other recreations planned? :) I still need to work on the shaping slightly on the corkscrews but im gettin...

RG100 NO LIMITS 2 RECREATIONS

So I havent really been active on here for the past year so I thought id make a return showing you what I've been up to in NL2. Im not one who can make the 3D scenery for the rides, Im one who works on the track work on shaping so Ill show you what Ive done so far. http://i.imgur.com/mJp2brt.jpg htt...

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

That's probably to minimize the amount of non TTfrs remarking upon the lack of activity from the area. Thrope will probably be trying to reduce attention on the area so that they aren't tarred by the same negative 'reputation' Alton is getting. I understand why too... What if the HSE guys can't fin...

If you haven't heard, Dragons Fury and Rattlesnake are being removed from the park due to The Smiler incident.

Considering Colossus is having problems with its trains does anyone think Thorpe will consider getting some new gen trains for it or would it be to much of a hassle for Thorpe?

Re: Thorpe Park - Next Coaster

I can't see Thorpe Park with anymore launch coasters plus they're probably thinking they have the launch already so thats not needed anymore. So airtime is one of the only things they have left tbh. They have 22 inversions altogether so airtime is needed now.

Re: Thorpe Park - Next Coaster

Could potentially be a new whole themed area with a coaster, flats and themed buildings. The Swarm is literally just the theming for the coaster which is amazing but there's no room for any flats.
