Re: ScareMazing 2017 - Reviews & Feedback

Amazing event, start to finish timed, run and operated smoothly and efficiently to get the most out of our day. Tours and run throughs worked perfectly, they are the best way to ...

Would you recommend the welcoming for someone who's only ever done tott and hom?

Yes, it’s not overly scary and probably on par with TotT it terms of scares :)

Re: Scarefest

I was in the first public group in the Welcoming, and was disappointed. The maze seemed to be mostly blindfolded and the maze wasn’t scary at all compared to Sub Species or Altonville Mine Tours I've been told by numerous people that the hooded section of The Welcoming: Be Chosen is a very, very sm...

This should be fixed now.

Is welcoming a free flow maze or a conga?

It is a free flow maze and should you not keep up with your group, because of the length of the maze it is easy to find yourself alone.

Re: Scarefest

Below is my review of the four mazes on offer at Alton Towers - (I have put the reviews in spoiler tags as I'm not sure what some people may consider spoilers so read with caution) Terror of the Towers - As already seen the entrance enters from the front of the Towers and you go up a tight narrow se...

Re: Towers Loving Care

I know this is going back a little, but I think it's really important for Alton Towers to keep Duel. I'll be the first to admit I'm one for history over new, but with everyone racing towards virtual reality (such as the ghost train), I feel it's important to keep some rides physical. There should b...

Re: Mutiny Bay Smokehouse

Finally the opportunity for more premium quality food, steak burgers and skin on chips! I for one can’t wait to how this turns out, hopefully heavily themed and tied in nicely with SW8.

I don't believe you get Annual Pass discount as it is  Fastrack, instead of a secondary attraction.

When I’ve had it for mazes, I used to get it but that’s 2 years ago now, I used the £5 FT PMAP voucher and discount which brought it to a nice comfy price.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

Various houses on the resort are used by the resort as staff break rooms, storage or offices. The entrance posted few posts back is still in the resort limit and as stated is the entrance the family would have used, particularly as over the road is the old Alton train station. The house opposite obl...

At present details are few but the rooms are advertised at 60 minutes. Prices vary depending on how many people you have per group, ...

As I visited last week and it was operational then, I understand duel had a stoppage yesterday or the day before which resulted in guests experiencing...
