Re: Toverland

It would seem that Fenix's lift hill has today been topped off, as shown in this video . Photos posted on Toverland's minisite also show that other sections of the exterior layout have also begun to go vertical now too. https://2018.toverland.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/04/180418_1920x1280_Fenix_05-...

Re: Universal Orlando Resort

What do we actually know of this ride? Cause I have no idea about anything :lol Were there any plans released? has the experience been deemed a family attraction or a thrill attraction? I'd recommend having a read of Universal's original blog post that announced that Dragon Challenge would be repla...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

The brand’s website gives some idea of what to expect. It does look reasonably appealing, although the reviews are mixed.

Re: Project 2020

I have read suggestions that the trees being cut down in between The Swarm and Stealth was to clear space for whatever the 2020 investment turns out to be, so that would potentially give them a wider site to work with. Couldn't really complain about a new B&M in the UK, but I still hold out hope...

Also does anyone know if Wickerman merch is planned for the online shop?

I believe some is set to be added to the online store. I think they were saying it would be available in a few weeks to people on social media.

Re: SP Spring Spectacular 2018 - Reviews & Feedback

With it having been a few years since I was last at Chessington, yesterday's event was a really enjoyable way to experience the park again.  Thanks to Chessington's organisation on the event side of things, as well as generally good operations, the day felt relatively easy-going and a great start to...

Re: SW9

Wicker Man’s planning application made a point of highlighting that the development would not encroach into the woodland that The Flume went through among its positive aspects, so it would be somewhat contradictory for them to propose something that would go in there for SW9. I do also think that th...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

Some stats about the special effects systems provided by Back Stage Technologies : BST provide six giant propane burners which required five dedicated propane tanks storing 10,000kg of propane. In addition, 12 metres of simulated flame was installed in the loading area together with fragrances of bu...

Ah, the Adventurer Fastrack (costing £12, not £10) was available in previous seasons although it appears to have been removed for 2018. Just a heads up that the TowersTimes page on the Fastrack tickets will need updating to show the change. :) Thanks Robert, we are looking to update this soon :) Al...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

The policy with any of the attractions is that, provided a guest enters the queue-line prior to the advertised ride close time (i.e. 6pm yesterday, after it was extended), they will have the opportunity to ride, as long as there aren’t any major technical issues. Often when a major new attraction op...
