Re: Liseberg

What a ride that was! Had two goes tonight. Managed to get front row on both of them. The drop is really impressive, both when on the ride and when looking at it from below. You can stand remarkably close to the ride around the drop and as it passes the bridge. It does carry quite a bot of speed aro...

Re: Liseberg

I drove past the park today on my way to the airport. Seeing the drop out on its own in the middle of the park is rather cool and impressive. Can't wait to ride it later this year!

Re: Busch Gardens Tampa

yeah I first went on that ride back in 1990 on my first, and so far only, visit to Florida. It was the first time i'd seen anything like it and the amount of water is pushed into the splash zone was incredible. I also remember the rapids where you actually went through the waterfall, getting soaked ...

Re: Alton Towers Magic Making Museum

Didn't they have a model of Air before it was constructed? Would be cool to see that again if they still have it.

It really is a lovely place. The theming is spectacular. I was so impressed when I went last July.

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

I've never had a problem purchasing the card during the sale and then picking up at Thorpe Park and getting them to set the expiry date to a year after the expiry date of the current card. They actually got it wrong on my last card but I just asked them to change it and they printed out a new one. M...

Re: Liseberg

I didn't actually see any. I went late at night so it was rather dark and raining so nothing obvious stood out. I also wasn't there all that long so was rushing around between the rides and didn't think to stop and see if I could see anything. If I get to go back again before I leave I'll try and ta...

Re: Liseberg

Just been on my first visit to Liseberg and Loke's a lot of fun. It picks up a lot of speed and there's a lot of air-time at each apex. Riding it in the rain isn't recommended though. It got quite painful on the eyes! I enjoyed Helix as well with some nice bits of air-time and near misses. Balder is...
