Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach

I was gonna say.. when I’ve been there 3 times this year Icon always had a big queue, and was constantly full. I would of assumed Icon is one of the most successful rides at BPB considering its had mostly positive feedback, wouldn’t say it beats the big one or Valhalla possibly but it’s definitely u...

Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach

I would assume that the show setup will be there.. however I do also think these markings will be for a new attraction(s) next year.

Think they realise it was a big lose for the Wild Mouse as it was one of the only 3 in the world left. A new flat would be very welcome in my opinion

Re: Project 2020

This is just pure speculation but hear me out.. Do to the time frame Thorpe now has, I do not think that we’ll see the coaster on Loggers Leap area, as deconstruction should of started by now, if they intended to build there. I do believe it will be Old Town area, specifically I believe that the sta...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

There has to be a point with Alton Towers where the accommodation reaches its max for hotels and cabins..

I’m hoping that once a good level of accommodation is done, then the park will start to be invested into more.. I.e.. new areas, rides, improvements etc.

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

Holy hell that looks so cool! Will definitely have to go back for Scarefest!

I’m eagerly awaiting to see Wicker Man with all the red lighting and actors walking around, should be a brilliant year!

Re: Last Game You Played and Your Rating

Halo: The Master Chief Collection After more than 3 years of continuos bad matchmaking servers, bad FPS, long load times, and glitches/bugs to name a few. It has been long overdue for an update to revive, possibly the biggest flop in gaming history. The Update With the game now being recently relea...

Have you seen this??? Now I’m all for nostalgia and history... But when it comes to RMC, think that goes out the window  :lol E2UFh7ev0mU This is incrediblely impressive and would be amazing! However.. I do think Grand National should receive the GCI treatment, and Big Dipper to receive the RMC tre...

Its gone way past that stage, lovely area for a park also, shame someone like Gulivers didnt buy it

Sure I heard somewhere the owner of Gullivers did once own it, but sold to other businesses..

Don’t quote me on that as I could very well be wrong :lol

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

Personally.. this is why I hope the London Resort Project happens. This will be a big rival to Merlin, as currently I don’t believe Merlin parks have any rivals in the UK.. Blackpool is closing in but not the same level. If the LR project were to happen.. I strongly believe we will see a major diffe...

Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion

I do. Yes it has taken a long time to plan out, but let’s just think.. this isn’t just a theme park, it’s a resort.. the park, hotels, shops, parking, transportation, etc. This all has to be planned out, because come opening day and it all flops.. then what’s the point in that massive investment? I’...

Re: SW9

Having visited the park the other day for the first time in a while, it's quite clear the park is missing another water ride and a few dark rides. Hex is still brilliant and Duel is fun, but it feels like there is something missing in the line up. The first thing that comes to mind for me is Valhal...

Re: SW9

If Project 2020 for Thorpe is to either be an RMC or B&M.. then I agree that Merlin, with the success of Icon, need to invest in a multi-launch coaster on Rita’s site, obviously being a Mack coaster.

Could you imagine a ride similar to Taron?

Re: The American Adventure

They’ve been going ahead for the past few years.. but still nothing has happened. Even their website hasn’t been updated as they state that construction should start at 2 different year dates..

I think something is finally happening, but not for the good of theme park enthusiasts unfortunately.

Re: SW9

Wasn’t there’s plans/discussion at one point for a roller coaster to feature parts of its track going into the gardens a little bit hugging the ground? Think it was for Forbidden Valley but can’t remember off the top of my head. I seriously hope the next installment is either a Mack ride to replace ...

Re: 2015-2019: Possible Developments?

I do agree that Blade should be replaced with that sort of ride.. but as much as this would please a lot of people, it would also take away a smaller ride for smaller guests, or for people with not such a tolerance to bigger rides.. If anything i’d love to see the old BoneShaker site in Dark Forest ...

Re: 2015-2019: Possible Developments?

SW9 won’t be till about 2022.. if Merlin stick to their 4 year scheme.. although due to the incident in 2015.. I don’t know how this now will be, as SW7 was 2013.. meaning SW8 should have been 2017.. so maybe 2021..

Hopefully when that time comes, it will also be the end of Rita :lol

Re: Congo River Rapids - General Discussion

One thing that I’ve always wondered.. why are British rapids so.. bland and boring? Compared to rapids in America or Germany.. great example.. Popeyes at Islands of Adventure.. just curious as you don’t tend to get that wet, but on popeyes you get absolutely soaked. I know for one the weather will h...

Re: Congo River Rapids - General Discussion

Wouldn’t all this just be sorted if seatbelts were put on the rafts? If people didn’t adhere to the rules for safety and wearing your seatbelt, then what blame can be given to Alton. And if people want to move because they don’t want to get wet.. why the hell would you go on a wet ride in the first ...
