Am I the only one who thinks they've seen these symbols before? Not sure where though... Did some digging for the symbols and the only one I could find something similar to was the one that looks like 2 swords: http://www.seiyaku.com/images/cross/swords-02-large.png Apparently it means 'getting read...

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

Hi everyone, I'm wanting to do a trip up to the Towers before I head back home, problem is I am on the other side of the country to the park and am not too keen on driving 5 hours to get to the park. Is there anyway of getting to the park via train? And is there multiple shuttles going to the park a...

Re: Disneyland Resort Paris

According to rumours, Guardians of the Galaxy are coming to WDS and will be overtaking a ride. Not Tower of Terror though as it is still a popular attraction that guests are 'attached to'. Instead they may overtake Rock N' Rollercoaster, as it would be easier to do and would require less work.

Re: Phantasialand

I'm looking forward to this massively, I'm hoping for a 2018 opening, as thats when I'm planning my first trip to this park. However it wouldn't surprise me if it was a 2019 addition. That being said, track is being installed quite fast, so if they manage to finish it by say, September, they could s...

The Emoji Movie - -1,000,000,000/10 *breaths in* AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I have never been more angry at a film, this movie, this AWFUL movie is everything wrong about the human race, we just need to reset the world, bring on our robot overlords I say. Last Game You Played and Your Rating

Since there is a topic like this for films, I thought there should be one for video games! Planet Coaster (PC) - 9/10  Love this game, its all that I could have hoped for in a spiritual successor to RCT3, all theme park enthusiasts should have this game! I just hope they add hotels, waterparks and m...

Re: Project 2020

Something I find intriguing is that we still have 3 year until we supposedly get this thing, planning permission I can see coming around mid next year, but we still have a 3 year gap without anything new. I can't see much for next year, maybe Loggers reopens and they give it a retheme and brand it a...

Re: Colossus

I don't think Colossus will be leaving anytime soon, when I last visited, the queue was the second biggest, just behind DBGT. One of the reasons I think its always so busy is because of quite a few of those youtube videos you see called "TOP 10 DANGEROUS ROLLERCOASTERS YOU SHOULD NEVER RIDE&quo...

Re: Upcoming movie releases!

So today 2 new trailers have dropped! First up we have 'Jigsaw', the next installment/soft reboot of the Saw franchise, this film looks like its quite a different for cinematography and does certainly look interesting. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcb68kAOvt4 Next up is the second trailer for the...

Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion

There is currently a rumour going around that London Resort Company Holdings, the former Paramount London licensees, are indeed in talks with NBC Universal about bringing a Universal Studios theme park to Kent in light of the cancelled Paramount project. This is only a rumour so don't take this...

You know, when I first saw the image I did think that looked familiar!
Very exciting though! A big hint of a hyper in my eyes, just a shame we have to wait until 2020! Wish it could be sooner.... :(

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train

So yesterday I was driving down the M25 at midday and I was passing Thorpe Park and was like "wait I have an annual pass!" and had a quick visit! I mostly wanted to give Rise of the Demon another chance, because of last time and I can safely say it's made me love it again. The VR was less ...

Should have gone with Beastly Kingdom!

I think it is also a shame, maybe they are hoping that the Avatar sequels will help reignite the film franchise, but I still think it's an impressive land.

Re: CBeebies Land Hotel - 2017

Should we talk about the price of this place? Because its quite expensive. I did some research and based on a 1 night stay with 2 adults and 2 children sharing, it comes to a whopping £450! You could get a lodge for nearly £150 less! All I can say is I feel incredibly sorry for all parents that take...

Sad news coming from Sega Republic, the indoor park located inside the Dubai Mall. The park home to a unique set of flat rides and a Gerstlauer Spinning Coaster 'Spin Gear', had closed its doors to the public, not sure just yet if it's closing permanently or having a rebrand, hopefully it will reope...

There is currently a rumour going around that Universal Studios  is in talks with Meraas, (developers and owners of DPR) to return to Dubai, in DPR. This is suggesting one of 2 possible things. 1. Universal Studios Dubai will open up as the 5th gate in Dubai Parks and Resorts (which I fi...

Does anyone else think that this may have been a typo? They maybe referring to DBGT: ROTD, which is the new attraction for this year and that was technically a worlds first.
