Re: Legoland Windsor - The Future

The thing that interests me most is the image of the Flying Theater seats, I do hope the park gets one as they are fantastic. I do wonder which will come first though, this or Haunted House...

Some ehhh filming at Atlantis

Been a while since I last posted here, mostly due to me not going to any parks recently. But I have been to Atlantis Aquaventure with my cousins who are visiting, so I decided to try out my waterproof phone case and do some filming. So check it out! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XWevk52eNTw&t=...

Am I the only one who can make out some eyes and a big open mouth? Is this the face of the wicker man?

Re: Thorpe Park - The Future

If it was an RMC, it would most likely be on the smaller spectrum, the island that is available for the coaster is not that big, you maybe able to squeeze something like Goliath, Joker or the Twisted Cyclone on the site. Its possible and I'd say more likely than a hyper, but we will just have to see.

Re: Dubailand

Don't know how this managed to get past me, but it appears that the seasonal Epcot style park 'Global Village' (where ATs old Beastie has been spotted) has put together a Vekoma Junior Boomerang (same model as Paultons Velociraptor): https://scontent-lht6-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/22279906_82912653393...

Re: Disneyland Resort Paris

I guess that the plans to keep ToT and change Rock n rollercoaster into a Guardians ride is no more, I've never done a ToT so it looks like I need to try get to Paris ASAP. I just wish they would build a new ride from the ground up, maybe do what Epcot are doing.

Re: The Future of Sonic Spinball

Would Spinball even fit in the Slammer site? I personally would rather see a new flat in Slammers spot. I also would be rather surprised if they decided to remove it, considering its often got a big queue and is one of the rides kids get excited for.  I think they should calm down on Cbeebies for a ...

Re: Dubai Parks & Resorts

The Hunger Games area of Motiongate and the 2 new rides are now in its soft opening/testing phase, its having its grand opening on the 20th October! This now means that 100% of Dubai Parks and Resorts are now open!

Looks like I'll be needing to head back to the park then!

Re: Six Flags Dubai

It's hard to tell from the photo - but is there clear signs of ongoing construction? Seems like there isn't much difference compared to your January photo. The picture isn't actually mine, its from a friend who took it while staying at the Lapita Hotel, I need to get back to DPR quite soon! Accordi...

Even though Six Flags is well under construction, due to stuff going on behind the scenes at DPR, its rumored that Six Flags Dubai will have an early 2020 opening.

Sorry if I've missed this, but is The Welcoming free of charge? Considering its part of the marketing for SW8, I'd make it free entry to get more people inside....

Re: Last Game You Played and Your Rating

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4) - 9/10 Man I love this series, I have now played all entries and I thought that this one would'nt be as good as the others due to its shift in characters. But it blew my expectations away within the first hour. Gameplay: awesome. Graphics: awesome. Puzzles: awesome. ...

They did say that they would announce more towards the end of the year, but the year is nearly over, so unless something happens very soon, I consider this project a failure.

Re: Legoland: The Great Lego Race VR Coaster (3 Parks)

I'm assuming the VR was made by Figment Productions?  I highly doubt Merlin would want to work with Figment again. I think that there is a possiblity that Figment could be used for this, it could be due to a contract agreement or as its the only VR company merlin has worked with. Sure they had issu...

Dammit Mako, you beat me to it again  I've flipped the image around and zoomed it in: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DJl31g8XgAAkLqn.jpg I find it strange as it looks like a lot of it is outdoors, when they said it would be fully indoors. Also the lack of rollercoasters, which they do need to draw...

Re: SeaWorld Abu Dhabi

Just a thought, As this park is fully indoors, I'm assuming it will take Ferrari World's record of 'World's Largest Indoor Park'? I'm fairly sure Ferrari World doesn't hold that record anyway. That would be IMG Worlds Of Adventure if I'm not mistaken? That said, if the figures on the Wikipedia page...

Wow! That's quite a collection you have! How long has it taken to get that many?

I've been collecting since 2013, but I've lost a few along the way (such as an Air one), most of the ones in the pic I got within the past 2 years.
