Re: Six Flags Dubai

Even though Six Flags is well under construction, due to stuff going on behind the scenes at DPR, its rumored that Six Flags Dubai will have an early 2020 opening.

Re: Scarefest

Sorry if I've missed this, but is The Welcoming free of charge? Considering its part of the marketing for SW8, I'd make it free entry to get more people inside....

Re: Last Game You Played and Your Rating

Uncharted: The Lost Legacy (PS4) - 9/10 Man I love this series, I have now played all entries and I thought that this one would'nt be as good as the others due to its shift in characters. But it blew my expectations away within the first hour. Gameplay: awesome. Graphics: awesome. Puzzles: awesome. ...

Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion

They did say that they would announce more towards the end of the year, but the year is nearly over, so unless something happens very soon, I consider this project a failure.

Re: Legoland: The Great Lego Race VR Coaster (3 Parks)

I'm assuming the VR was made by Figment Productions?  I highly doubt Merlin would want to work with Figment again. I think that there is a possiblity that Figment could be used for this, it could be due to a contract agreement or as its the only VR company merlin has worked with. Sure they had issu...

Re: SeaWorld Abu Dhabi

Dammit Mako, you beat me to it again  I've flipped the image around and zoomed it in: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DJl31g8XgAAkLqn.jpg I find it strange as it looks like a lot of it is outdoors, when they said it would be fully indoors. Also the lack of rollercoasters, which they do need to draw...

Re: SeaWorld Abu Dhabi

Just a thought, As this park is fully indoors, I'm assuming it will take Ferrari World's record of 'World's Largest Indoor Park'? I'm fairly sure Ferrari World doesn't hold that record anyway. That would be IMG Worlds Of Adventure if I'm not mistaken? That said, if the figures on the Wikipedia page...

Wow! That's quite a collection you have! How long has it taken to get that many?

I've been collecting since 2013, but I've lost a few along the way (such as an Air one), most of the ones in the pic I got within the past 2 years.

Re: Dubai Parks & Resorts

Evening guys, I am off to Dubai in January and not knowing much about the parks I am after some opinions on what park/parks to visit, Its just me and my partner both mid 20s who tend to enjoy the thrill and dark rides.  Ohhh just the question for me! I'll go through the main parks in Dubai and Abu ...

Re: SeaWorld Abu Dhabi

It has now been confirmed that SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will be a fully indoor park. I presume that there will be coasters loading inside with much of the layout outside as we have seen at Ferrari Land. *Ferrari World  :lol I think this is a smart move, as it does get quite hot in the summer months, I as...

Re: Colossus

Yesterday I had the worst ride I've ever had on Colossus, I had a gigantic headache and had to sit down and rest for a bit. Probably gonna avoid it next time, I think the ride needs ether new trains (Altair style), retrack or just scrap it. Don't know why the GP flock to this ride. Also I heard the ...

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

Was on park today so I can answer both.

Rush is apparently having a cable used to help it swing replaced, verious repair equipment is scattered around the arms.

Slammer is SBNO currently, the only thing removed is it's sign and it on the map.

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train

Went on the Ghost Train again today, still absolutely love it, got a hoodie from it! There was however a problem with the train crashing into you effect in the walk through section, it lit up and all the sounds played, but no train itself. The door that leads you back into the train platform wasn't ...

Saw was one of the rides that made me an enthusiast in the first place (along with Air), so for me, even though its a little rough here and there, it is always in my heart and I'll always try to ride it when I visit Thorpe.

Someone has managed to get a video of the Capital Bullet Train coaster testing, not much on the 'bullet' aspect of the name as you can see, however that hangtime on the loop looks good and it looks like a nice fun ride!

I personally love the name, but I LOVE that logo, I've just made it my desktop background and I can guarantee I'll be getting a shirt or something with that logo on.
