Re: Warwick Castle

Just to confirm for anyone, the Castle Dungeon hasn't been included in the Warwick Castle Annual Pass for quite some time, if ever :)

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

I'd think that's a mix up. This ride running two trains would be a capacity nightmare in many ways :)

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

I think the ride will look absolutely stunning in the day or not. I don't think they're showing everything off yet in terms of fire, either. But even if it is just that it looks stunning in my opinion. Even if it does look better at night or on a dark evening, it will still look stunning during the ...

Re: Album's You've Heard and Your Review

So, as I said in another thread, I've discovered Babymetal, and I enjoy doing full album reviews, so this is the result of that... BABYMETAL - METAL RESISTANCE http://img.hmv.co.jp/image/jacket/800/68/1/4/891.jpg Road of Resistance (Featuring Herman Li & Sam Totman) I didn't need to ...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

The first bit was taken from a news report with a drone flying up the Wicker Man lift, the video is a good joke though :)

Re: What are you listening to?

Doom (2016) soundtrack. I've been addicted to the game recently, and the soundtrack on it's own is mental (Bfg Division is a monster of a track) and I could happily listen all day to this stuff :)

Re: Phantasialand

It is very easy, you need to either hire a car or get a train. The train is about 4 Euros each way and takes about 40 minutes with one change. You'll go from the Airport (Koln Bonn Flughafen, if you're every confused by the station names), to Cologne Central Station (Koln HBF), and then change to a ...

Re: Wicker Man Construction Discussion

The lift hill is chain-driven, although possibly uses magnetic anti-rollback technology which is where the rumours of what you mention came from. However, the video did show the train slowing right down at the top of the lift, so, assuming that isn’t part of the normal ride sequence, there’s the po...

No, this is shot from a light aircraft. The person who runs Attraction Images would not risk getting a lifetime ban from Alton Towers ;)

Re: Wicker Man Construction Discussion

I personally think Wicker Man will be far better than Icon quality wise, as a whole package. Icon is a great layout, but I do believe Wicker Man looks to have very nice forces over the course of the layout. I'm holding out hype for it. :)

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

I'm not bothered at all by the staggered openings. Especially as DBGT is the most technical ride I've ever seen, and really does need that time to be set up each morning. And unlike Alton Towers, Thorpe Park will have openings until 10PM on some days, which makes it a whole lot more justifiable. I d...

Re: What are you listening to?

About a month or so ago I was completely against the idea of Babymetal...But then their music clicked, I heard their second album, and I've been a fan since. This album, Metal Resistance, is nothing but a stroke of genius, some of the heaviest songs I've heard in quite some time (Sis. Anger, for exa...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

I think that the comparison to Mystic Timbers need to be chilled to be honest guys :lol If everyone expects something like that from the layout of Wicker Man then there's going to be a lot of disappointment, and I definitely don't say this as if Wicker Man will be a bad ride, I'm actually very opti...
