Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

This weekend is the first time I've seen the site since it was merely dirt and footers, and I am now pretty excited about it! I think it looks a lot bigger in real life and it's shaping up to be a really fun ride.

Re: Efteling

Hmm in that respect I guess it truly hinges on what you expect going in, I wasn't too bothered about a coherent story through the attraction as I just found every intricate detail and the overall feel of being in a magical environment was enough to keep me interested. I can see how people would be d...

Re: Efteling

On our way back from three days at Efteling and I can confirm that Symbolica does not disappoint! The three tours do not differ as much I would have expected or maybe wanted, but the theming is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I found the ride to be truly magical and it looks as though it has always been there...

Re: SP Summer Sizzler 2017 - Reviews & Feedback

Thank you all for coming and joining us! I think we all agree that Thorpe were amazing on this event, this is why we love them so much! Enormous thanks to Andy and Chantelle and everyone else involved in helping us put the event together. I loved every aspect of the event this time from the talk, th...

:lol :lol cheers Jack, this is why I shouldn't forum when tired, my inner geek had obviously already fallen asleep!!

I'd forgotten about Baby Driver - good film but I felt it just dragged a little in parts. I did enjoy it though and would recommend to others.

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

This week I saw Despicable Me 3. 6/10 Funny film in parts, absolutely not as good as the first one (or second) but that's to be expected from the third film in any franchise I guess. Wonder Woman. 8/10 I actually really enjoyed this film, I've been meaning to watch it since it came out but finally c...

Re: Scarefest

Although it would be good to see some changes, I kind of doubt we will, the attraction was a runaway success last year and I think they'll probably take a 'not broke don't fix it' stance. I wouldn't really agree that it needs any more peril or fear written into the storyline, but then I am a wuss :l...

Is the castle dungeon still a thing and what does it have in it (can't find anything about it online) Assuming you mean the dungeon experience and not the gaol, this is the number one link from searching Warwick Castle dungeon on Google ;) https://www.warwick-castle.com/explore/the-castle-dungeon.a...

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train

Just had a question about the DBGT.. What are peoples experiences regarding nausea with the VR? I ask because my girlfriend doesn't cope with VR all that well, and riding X when it went backwards made her bring up her lunch, as did Hex. I wouldn't want her to ride it first thing and spend the rest ...

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

I'm going to be optimistic and say that they will replace them with proper permanent not-that-ugly fencing. But also why on earth can people not be trusted not to enter ride areas, I mean really.

Re: SW8 Speculation and Discussion

Although I absolutely love the idea that Towers could have planned that far ahead and that the sign would link to the ride we're getting, I think the boys have debunked it well enough, I just simply can't see how the two would be related at all. Shame though, would have been pretty cool to have been...

Re: Drayton Manor

Its very much putting PR above customer experience but that's just my opinion, I just think it needs to be discussed is all. CVD, how you can possibly think that it would be the correct thing to do by keeping the park open today is beyond me. I think you will find that given the circumstances most ...
