Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

If it was open over winter it would certainly tempt me to make an effort to make it over there , previously there's been nothing to make the trip that worthwhile.

Re: Blackpool Central - 2019-2029

This plan sounds very impressive and very ambitious, I think I'll reserve judgement for a little while longer. Something else to do in Blackpool when the weather is poor can't be a bad thing. It has however given me more to add to my reading list, as the novels the attractions are based upon sound i...

Re: Alton Towers Resort Future - General Discussion & Wishes

I really really hope that next season, Merlin realise that Alton need and deserve a bigger budget to operate things better. I would hope that they have cut things back to the point where no more can be cut, and that they realise how much of an impact it is having on guest experience. People want to ...

Re: The Couch

I love overcooked, so I would say yes. Single player isn't very fun but multi player can be a hoot. Shame you aren't a PS4 player or we could go head to head :lol

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

For the shortest queues (relatively) then the first week or so of Scarefest is probably your best bet, though the whole event will still draw a good crowd. However I have to agree with Justin, if you can then the Scarefest Friday into Fireworks Saturday atmosphere should be pretty awesome, and even ...

Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Seeing so many varying opinions on Icon is really interesting. I found the ride to be slightly underwhelming, it's no doubt a great addition to the UK coaster line up and I'm really pleased that Blackpool are the ones to have built this. I think that unfortunately I was always going to compare Icon ...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Christopher Robin I personally really loved this film, despite being very sceptical and basically expecting to dislike the whole thing I thought it was sweet and a great Sunday afternoon film. The pacing was too slow in parts, and the bit where the papers fly into the air was ridiculously acted ( if...

Re: The Couch

I think because after the lull caused by the initial hype dying down and some unpopular changes/reliability issues, they've worked on regular updates and new challenges which keep it a bit more interesting. That said it is still quite grindy, which doesn't suit everyone but since I like collecting t...

Apparently there are more people playing it now than there has been since 2016, so it would appear not!

Anything that keeps me active is alright by me :) And now I'm knackered after walking 4 miles round town :lol

Today I'm on my day off, I think I'm going to do housework and play a bit of Pokémon Go in an attempt to spend as little money as possible :lol

I guess kind of, but it means you can drop back in hours /the day after and still know what has been said, rather than it being constantly swept away :)
