Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

The Commuter 4/10. Ive seen Stan's review, and it certainly goes to show how different people's views can be on the same film! :lol I love Liam Neeson, and Taken is one of my favourite films. But my gosh, The Commuter was rather boring. Samey samey action (ish) film and very easy to predict what the...

Just thought I'd also mention we have a page for Event FAQs http://www.towerstimes.co.uk/events/faq/ which addresses age restrictions amongst other things for anyone who might have any questions :)

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

In general though, I think it’s pretty clear that Merlin’s intention is to get more people choosing premium over standard, however the question is whether the number of passes they manage to convert will generate more revenue than is lost as a result of people choosing not to renew at all on standa...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Despite the pass offering good value, the changes to the standard pass are ridiculous, and I feel far too restrictive for some families. Standard pass holders cannot visit any weekend in August? Absolutely stupid - great for the general public because now I imagine it will be much quieter on park......

Re: Howl-o-ween

I'm really disappointed that I've not been able to get down to Chessington for Halloween this year, I'm glad to see they're trying new things and it certainly seems to have been quite well received.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwNzmK9jXFQ&t=191s  (skip to about 2:55) Do they do this every evening? I hadn't seen it before, and can't find any other videos of this happening, but surely it would ruin your day if just got randomly chosen, or, is it fixed?    Haven't seen anyone else mention...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

This weekend is the first time I've seen the site since it was merely dirt and footers, and I am now pretty excited about it! I think it looks a lot bigger in real life and it's shaping up to be a really fun ride.

Re: Efteling

Hmm in that respect I guess it truly hinges on what you expect going in, I wasn't too bothered about a coherent story through the attraction as I just found every intricate detail and the overall feel of being in a magical environment was enough to keep me interested. I can see how people would be d...

Re: Efteling

On our way back from three days at Efteling and I can confirm that Symbolica does not disappoint! The three tours do not differ as much I would have expected or maybe wanted, but the theming is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I found the ride to be truly magical and it looks as though it has always been there...

:lol :lol cheers Jack, this is why I shouldn't forum when tired, my inner geek had obviously already fallen asleep!!

I'd forgotten about Baby Driver - good film but I felt it just dragged a little in parts. I did enjoy it though and would recommend to others.

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

This week I saw Despicable Me 3. 6/10 Funny film in parts, absolutely not as good as the first one (or second) but that's to be expected from the third film in any franchise I guess. Wonder Woman. 8/10 I actually really enjoyed this film, I've been meaning to watch it since it came out but finally c...
