Captain Underpants Movie: 8/10

I watched this with my little sister recently, and I was actually in stitches many times! Lots of good humour and a nice, enjoyable film for all of the family :)

Re: Fright Nights

Has anyone that has been recently noticed any changes or improvements to Living Nightmare? It hasn't got amazing reviews so was hoping they may have improved it :)

This is already such a picturesque ride already! Loving the rockwork and the buildings, but when are they going to unveil this wickerman?! :P

Re: SeaWorld Orlando

Looks like this will be a great addition, I thoroughly enjoyed something similar to this at Siam Park recently, so this would definitely persuade me to visit over some of the other Florida options :)

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train

That's really awful if that's the case, those effects are vital for the overall immersive experience. Let's hope they get them sorted soon.

These expansions certainly sound exciting! Have they given any rough dates other than 2020? If that's the case we could see two per year :D

The drawings are brilliant Justin! I certainly look forward to this being unveiled, and I have a feeling it may be in the next week or so, we can hope! :)

Re: Disneyland Resort Paris

Quick question guys, I'm looking at a trip in the first week of 2018. The only ride I can see closed that might be an issue is Phantom Manor- is this worth postponing a visit for?

Also being the first weekend of 2018- how many days will we need? Is it likely to be busy? Thanks :)

Re: Tulley's Shocktoberfest

I also visited last night, and having wanted to visit for the last 4 years, I had big expectations! It was a fun night, and the detail and theming within the mazes are astounding, truly immersive. They seem an ideal length before it gets too much, and the layout of the event works really well. It wa...

DOOMSDAY Scream Park - Bad Omens

Hi Guys,   I just wanted to tell you about our newly formed events company, Bad Omens, who specialise in designing scare attractions.  Between the team there’s a wealth of experience, some who have been in the industry for 10 years+ working on events such as Tulley’s and across several Merlin attrac...

What about the fire effects used on Scorpion Express at CWoA?

I'd consider Scorpion's Express fire effect to be fairly small in comparison to what SW8 would require to have the desired impact. Also the fact the surrounding area will be 90% wood I just can't see AT taking the risk :)

Re: SW8 Speculation and Discussion

As much as I'd love some sort of fire effects, I can't see Merlin investing in what would need to be a large fire effect to have any impact. In the current position with everything being under the watchful eye of H&S rules and regs I can't see them taking the risk. However the theming element is...

Re: Fright Nights

I used to be a huge TWD fan, but that did fizzle out a year or so ago. Nevertheless I am still excited for this years Fright Night's. I'm hoping they will have perfected their in house mazes and have high expectations for the new IP. I'm sure under AMC's watchful eye these attractions will have to b...

Re: Scarefest

If it was to be in the courtyard, I wonder if they will reveal the theming structure on site for Scarefest. They have gone to extreme's to ensure very little is seen, and it certainly seems to be a focus. Either way I'm really looking forward Scarefest, they confirmed at ScareCON that AMT will be ge...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Just a few recent ones: War for the Planet of the Apes: 7/10 The CGI and special effects is what makes this film. It's a nice continuation of the story with some good action packed scenes. Unfortunately as with the others in the series, there can be a dip in the middle which drags on a bit, but unde...

Re: CBeebies Land Hotel

Looking at pictures online from over the weekend it does look like it's been done to an incredibly high standard! The small details and focus on the target demographic will be the biggest selling point for parents, even if they do need to take out a loan beforehand! :)

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

I'm astounded at the speed this is flying up! I visited just a couple of weeks ago before there was any lift hill. I agree I think we should see track completion by Scarefest/fireworks :)
