Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

As Lewis says, it is worth checking with the Box Office, but you will be paying more. The year Mine Tours opened, I purchased a single ticket as not to spoil the maze as I was due to see it behind the scenes and it cost £8. MAP was also available at the time, so it may be worth asking about that to ...

Re: The Couch

Oh I was just interested to see if anyone knows it. I'm a run director at mine and its a major part of my life. It's great to see how far it has spread from such humble beginnings. I think I've ran 10 parkruns so far and honestly just enjoy the togetherness of everyone involved. It's such a great t...

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

I have never been in Sub Species, so please no spoilers. It will be my first year doing all the mazes this year. But how does the graffiti link to the theme of the maze? A skeleton with a party hat? A smiley face? A crown? The plain black container suited it well, isn't it the darkest of the mazes?...

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

I would have preferred them to paint the containers grey and blend them into the Towers. The door looks good, the rest just makes it look dirty!!

With regards to photos, they usually clear people from that area as soon as possible as it is also the exit for Mine Tours.

Hopefully, but as Dom says, they need really good actors and sets to make it worthwhile :)

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

As posted on TowersTimes Facebook page;  The exterior of Sub Species: The End Games has had a minor makeover this year, with the shipping containers which house the end of the maze being covered in graffiti. https://i.imgur.com/jujhbXq.jpg https://i.imgur.com/tJyHS5T.jpg https://i.imgur.com/5SRSFFi....

Re: Fright Nights

I understand your concerns. To be honest, while it looks good on paper, thinking about it, we only have Living Nightmare, Saw Alive and Vulcan Peek as proper mazes, then again Vulcan Peek doesn't sound great as the rumour is that you are hooded all the way through and see nothing. The rest are outdo...

Re: The Couch

Well, it is the weekend!
Not been the greatest week for me to be honest, but really looking forward to Fright Nights in less than 2 weeks and Scarefest in just under 4 weeks time.

I'm sure it is all pointing towards Room on the Broom. The IP has been used for storytelling sessions and is due to return this Halloween.... https://www.chessington.com/halloween/images/ROTB-logo.png Young Adventurers can enjoy a spooky storytelling with characters from Julia Donaldson and Axel Sch...

The most intriguing zone for me is The Towers Projections. Also Galactica Airways sound quite chilling, if done right!

Re: The Couch

It is good! Love Halloween!
B&M has a spirit board for sale which moves when it senses movement. Scared the hell out of me when I saw it move on its own. I usually have to pay for scares!! :lol

Has it not? Have gate numbers been released?

I wouldn't have gone to Blackpool if Icon wasn't installed and I am sure many others would not have visited too.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

If you can, go the Friday before Fireworks and stay for the Saturday. You'll get the best of both as the events run back to back.

It will be busy, especially Fireworks but it is an amazing time to visit the park.
