Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

Given that it is an add on attraction, could take an hour out of your day, I think the majority of the general public will ignore it and go on free attractions. Personally I am not a fan, but I hope this is not an addition that will be a failure like Galactica. It will be far from a failure! The Du...

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

Warwick works well, so I am sure they'll be able to manage guest expectations. I wouldn't be surprised if a team from Alton has been down to Warwick to look at their systems.

I can only see the expected renewal sale?

Is there a new pass sale this year?

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train - Rise Of The Demon

The attraction needs major work, I'm my opinion. Although it opened in 2016, it already feels dated and in need of TLC. The storyline needs to be addressed and serious work needs to be done on Part 2. It just feels like a bodged up attraction. It is a ride that I am not bothered about as I feel seri...

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

I've just seen that was suggested that they sell links. I personally think they would have a market for it. All it needs is a clean and it is ready for sale.

Looking at the other side of it, it is good to see that we are all ready to go for another season! It is an underated ride!

Re: Nemesis - General Discussion

It is a shame that they didn't utalise the 'Golden Triangle' scheme, making use of Nemesis and Galactica, especially during the summer months :/

Re: SW9

I am personally not a big fan of water rides due to our climate. While these are great on hot days (and also very enjoyable) they are not the best for throughput across the park as queue times can be low on these, putting more strain on the other rides. I also don't like the feeling of being wet thr...

Re: Alton Towers Resort Future - General Discussion & Wishes

It is a strange one. I personally have a feeling they will be used in The Dungeons as other Dungeon attractions tend to have a double sided operation, with two drop towers back to back and a control booth to the side. Apart from the London one, these tend to be a similar size to junior towers. With ...

Surprisingly, they haven't kicked in like I thought they would! I had a few days after Fireworks when I had a few odd moments of Closed Season Blues, but I keep busy with Christmas activities and meeting friends. I'm off to Winter Wonderland and then have some cool things lined up in the new year to...

Re: Winter Wonderland - Hyde Park London

I'm looking forward to visiting Christmas week. My last visit was December 2016, but I do enjoy riding Wilde Mause XXL, Looping and Alpine Hotel.

I do want to ride Dr Archibald this year too. I don't know much about it though.
