Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

When you posted your pictures, I did wonder if the arch was the beginning of Platform 15 construction. One to keep an eye on! :)

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

Thanks for the great update, Chris! I do wonder if Zombie hunt will take place around Platform 15 or via the old Blair Witch route. The only thing which confuses me is the arch is close to Saw's ride area. I could be wrong, but I thought the only way they could use that area was to include a tunnele...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

It also appears that the fire effects don't trigger on every train. If this is true then it is disappointing!

Re: Project 42 (Nemesis Sub-Terra) - New for Scarefest 2018

It does make you wonder if it will be part of the maze experience or just part of the queue line theming? I'm pleased we are getting a new experience though :) Edit - Just having further thoughts about the maze. With the elevators in the attraction already, I wonder if it will take on a Military bas...

Re: The London Dungeon

Do they use additional scenes or do they use the spaces for a different show?

Re: Alton Towers Resort Merchandise

These looked to be the oversized pin badges which I am not keen on at all. Alton have been good to release the 'normal' sized pins but they seem to be getting bigger again :( In other news, I received this on Thursday. Another piece of wood to add to the collection :) https://i.imgur.com/5sYNNeP.jpg

Re: TTSP General Feedback

We made changes to the forum earlier this year, however, we are always looking for ways to improve. Part of this involves rolling out new features. While it may not be included in our next update, we will keep this in mind :)

Re: Scarefest

With the Freaky Four welcoming a fifth member, I wonder if the Hearse will be upgraded to include Gretyl the Witch?
People have been crying out for it for years, but it would be nice to see a little more merchandise too!

Re: Scarefest

I'm sad to see Freak Show go, but I'm happy that there will be roamers again this year.  I must admit, I am a little sad to see Freak Show disappear as it always had such a good atmosphere.  It is also sad that ToTT has disappeared as it feels like an old friend, but it was getting old! With regard...

Re: TowersTimes' Summer Festival - 4th August 2018 - Discussion

There are usually people around the day after. It may be worth seeing what others are doing on the day as some of us go for a swim, some go to golf and some have a lie in after a very late night. There will be people on park too!

Re: Scarefest

I just had a look at last years' Scarefest page and I couldn't see any entertainment listed for CBeebies.
Dan is right in what he said though, I don't think anything was changed and celebrations were confined to ATH and Splash Landings :)

It really doesn't make sense, especially when you add on the price of a Premium Merlin Annual Pass. This isn't good value at all!

Re: FIA Formula One World Championship - General Discussion

Another thrilling race with lots of crashes. It is a pity Red Bull didn't get a podium position, but I still thoroughly enjoyed watching the action unfold, especially with the safety car action. It seems that they learnt their lesson from last week, regarding tyres :D

Re: Nemesis Sub-Terra Refurb - New Scarefest Maze for 2018?

Interesting, I always believed it was in Lockdown, but that certainly isn't the Towers.

The mannequin is interesting. It looks like Alton are playing games with people :)

Re: Scarefest

Alton ran 'Extreme mazes' which saw a more concentrated and physical element on the standard mazes. You had to be over 18 to enter and sign a disclaimer. Lockdown was an extended scare which ran into the early morning and was based in Sub Species. It used additional rooms off the maze and only ran f...

Re: Nemesis Sub-Terra Refurb - New Scarefest Maze for 2018?

Sub Strain is located in additional rooms off from Sub Species. I believe these were the ones used for Lockdown.
