Re: Events Calendar 2018

If admission is not covered by your pass then you'll need an admission ticket and an event ticket.

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - The Future

I think X has many years left as WD, as Lucy explained above.

Personally, I'd like to see Old Town redeveloped as it is, well, old! :lol

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

Leaks left right and centre on some other forums, I'm not sure how TT feels about staff reviews but if what's been said is true, then wow. The pre-show alone sounds amazing, I feel like we've got something special here. We are aware of the images and details emerging from the staff previews, howeve...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

Credit to the person who has put all the snippets together. If this gives a hint to the final soundtrack then I am pleased. It is unique and very atmospheric, suiting the ride's theme very well. I can't wait to experience it fully when it opens!

Thanks for sharing. I think the early 1990s is when I first visited. Chessington holds many happy memories for me :)

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

For 4 seconds of footage, I am very impressed. It is also very effective in the daylight too!

Re: Liseberg

That was my initial thought too, Chris. Having some kind of lighting effect would add a feature to the ride, especially in a park located in a city.

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

It is disappointing to see an image of the trains leaked, however, it does look they have been tied into the theme well with lots of detail. It will be nice when the side profile is released, to see if the detail continues all the way around :)

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

https://i.imgur.com/K7e0tnJ.gif The GIF does look good. I still believe there will be an element of smoke though. I think until we can see all the effects working in real life, it is hard to tell what the overall appearance will be. One thing is for sure, we have a visually stunning coaster with wh...

I didn't know that. By the look of those panels, getting into the trains must have been troublesome?

It makes me wonder if this is the theming for Tiger Rock's station building? It looks like the station layout.

Re: Walt Disney World - Disney's Hollywood Studios

It does look to be a very nice addition, with great theming which is scaled to the ride. With Toy Story 4 planned as well, this will be a popular area!

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

Even though these are promotional images, I am confident we will still get a decent end result. I am still expecting a similar effect, perhaps without so much of the lingering fog, similar to that pictured in the second photo above, posted by Jack.

Re: Towers Loving Care

In some ways, I agree with you, however, I do believe money would still be allocated to heritage projects such as the Towers or garden restoration without being forced to do so, with or without the Towers Loving Care project. It would be the same for any maintenance of historical buildings, be it Wa...
