The name hasn't yet been confirmed but I highly doubt it'll be Wicker Man, despite it being trademarked. I could be wrong though.

I must agree with Dan!

Re: Ride pin badges

No worries. The only pin I don't like to much is the Nemesis one from last year. That is plastic fronted!

Re: Ride pin badges

Ha! It's the laminated front that makes it look plastic.

Worth a buy and the quality is good. I use mine for event badges.

I'm looking forward to it. It will make a great outlet to grab a small bite to eat and chill.

Certainly the best theme was chosen. I like the way they have gone down the abandoned race track theme more in recent years.

I don't believe you get Annual Pass discount as it is Fastrack, instead of a secondary attraction.

Re: Fright Nights

Ha! :lol Possibly, Dom. But it also comes down to overselling. Yes, of course charge a premium but don't over do it. I would have been happy with £35, but not an extra £14 compared to last year. Saying that, I'd still pay it but that is more fool me! :lol I just hope they don't take advantage and in...

Re: Fright Nights

But the idea of both systems is to make sure you aren’t waiting hours for a maze, so from that point of view they act as more or less the same thing. Loosely, yes but Alton you pay for the mazes. They are not open freely to guests like Thorpe. As I say, everyone is on a level playing field. Also, w...

Re: Fright Nights

I disagree. You are paying for two separate products. Maze access at Alton where everyone pays the same and is treated the same, or Thorpe which is a Fastrack product which has seen a price increase over the past two years. Last year was £30, up £10 from £20 in 2015. This year it has gone up £14. Of...

Re: Scarefest

Tickets are available separately (£8), however, if you are looking to do two out out of the three then I would advise buying a combo ticket as your time slots will be grouped. If you are Merlin Pass Holder it is cheaper (£16). I can't remember if MAP discount is available on individual mazes, but yo...

Re: Scarefest

Each mazes has its own theme, but you walk through a series of narrow corridors. At certain parts you will see the inhabitants, however, some are well hidden and will appear at various points. Some will be below you, some at the same level and some above. The mazes over the past couple of years have...

Re: Scarefest

Wouldn't the food stalls be in the way if the queue was to go that side? Also, I think it was reported in a write up that the entrance would be on Towers Street by Birmingham Mail?

Overall, I'm looking forward to it!

Re: What do you think should replace CCL?

With the hotel opening, an expansion of Cbeebies is very likely. Hopefully, CCL will receive a makeover/retheme with new rides first, but it does unfortunately come down to money and budgets which I think would be redirected to Cbeebies first.

Re: The Drawing Board: Dark Forest Concepts

I find it interesting how The Quarry was dismissed. I suppose it was too similar to UG land in terms of appearance and industrial compared to X Sector. The Ghost Rider theme I just cant see myself at Alton!
