Re: Alton Towers Resort - Quick Questions

If you can, go the Friday before Fireworks and stay for the Saturday. You'll get the best of both as the events run back to back.

It will be busy, especially Fireworks but it is an amazing time to visit the park.

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

It could be possible that the hooded section is at the end this year, leading guests out to face Wicker Man. The straight tunnel out is a little strange though!

Re: Nemesis - General Discussion

I'm not sure if this has been pointed out already, apologies if so. The lights in the Nemesis station are a orangey-red now as appose to the bright white lights prior to this, they seem to have added a tinted filter sheet to the lights which also makes them less bright and intrusive. I think they l...

Re: Fright Nights

Deadwood Creek sounds better... who knows?
Both fit into the logo, depending on how it is stylised.

Re: Fright Nights

Deadwood Creek is an actual place. They also have a gold mine, so could that relate to the theme? It sounds like it could be an Old Town style too!

Re: Chessington - General Discussion

Just reading some comments on Facebook and one of them was using Julia Donaldson's 'Room on the Broom'. I think that would work well to be honest!

Worst case - Free entry tickets, oh and spending over 7 million

I think it works out a few pound cheaper your way than walking up and buying a ticket on the day! :lol

Re: Project 2020

This is just pure speculation but hear me out.. I do believe it will be Old Town area, specifically I believe that the station could either be based on Slammer’s old site, or that ride that used to be next to where I’m A Celeb is now, can’t remember the name of the ride but the one with the cars, b...

Interesting, I'll have to look into that as I don't recognise it. https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/1784/9119/products/WM-Wood_545x.jpg?v=1529671051 In other news, it appears that there are only 5 out of the 50 limited edition pieces of ride wood left as only 5 can be added to the basket. https://sh...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

Speaking of effects, it seems the smoke effect in the station is finally working as it was originally intended, as shown in this picture taken by Thrill Nation on Thursday. https://i.imgur.com/EeJSAl6.jpg Only saw it like this at the beginning of the season. How epic will it look at Scarefest!!!

Re: Fright Nights

They did have a rib challenge at Bush BBQ one year, but I doubt that food offerings will be included. I do hope they have enough actors and that queues are not ridiculously long. Hopefully, the sheer number of attractions will disperse the crowds.
