Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

I think this is an interesting idea - I’m quite tempted by it myself! Admittedly, it’s a bit on the pricey side, but it’s one of the more unique ways of supporting the park. However, I have two questions: will we get an official TTSP brick, and will we get an official John Wardley brick? :P

Re: What are you listening to?

Dream Theater, lots of Dream Theater. Currently enjoying tracks like Vacant, In The Prescence of Enemies Pt. 1 and Breaking All Illusions. Highly recommend most of their albums - especially Metropolis Pt. 2: Scenes From A Memory.

Re: Wicker Man Construction Discussion

Yikes... That testing video was an unexpected let down. The pacing was always one of my concerns about the attraction (especially seeing the flat turn halfway through the ride) but I was hoping it’d be a bit faster than that! That said, I’m hoping there’s a few factors that might change - temperatur...

That's an awesome edit Rob - looks really cool!

Re: Heide Park

I am so incredibly relieved by this! I ended up missing the Colossos credit during a 2016 Halloween visit - I enjoyed my time there, but it was definitely a dampener on the experience. Honestly, when I heard it was remaining shut in 2017 and 2018 I was pretty worried. Luckily, Merlin seem to have de...

Halloween at Gardaland - Trip Report

Only now do I have enough time to sit and properly write this trip report. Apologies I’ve put it off so long! Gardaland - Trip Report and Review This October I finally visited another of my bucket list parks - Gardaland in Italy. I’d heard somewhat mixed reviews about Gardaland, some people said it ...

Re: Winter Wonderland - Hyde Park London

In the last week I got a chance to get to Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland. I didn’t have a huge amount of time there, but I had enough time to get on a few of their best rides. Mini r eview: First stop with obviously Olympia Looping. When I visited the ride was only running one train - however the que...

Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach

Obviously, Icon construction is well underway! Here's a few pics I got today. The first picture shows the constructed Immelmann, and the next two show the track in the car park. Someone with more time and a better attention span than me can probably tell you what bit of track corresponds to which pa...

Re: Gardaland

I think this is a great idea for Gardaland. When I was there in October the Kung Fu Panda rides and area were constantly rammed - the Kung Fu Panda coaster regularly got 90 minute queues. They absolutely need more family rides to take the high demand. I know it's another IP, but I can totally unders...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

It’s very relieving to hear SW8 is already testing! Should be running perfectly by opening day! Let’s hope this gives them plenty of time to work on theming - in fact, the fact it’s already testing makes me hope that there will be some pretty extensive theming there. Taron had track finished early s...

It is a multi-looper similar in some ways to The Smiler, however featu...

Re: ScareMazing 2017 - Reviews & Feedback

Another exceptional event from TTSP! Definitely my favourite Scaremazing so far - also I think possibly our most packed schedule in TTSP event history! :P BTS on Sub Species and House of Monsters was very interesting to start off the day. I found looking around Sub Species especially interesting, as...

Re: Dragon Falls Tiger Retheme - 2018

Thought I’d add my two pence on this topic. Really glad to see Mystic East get a refresh - it really needs it. Dragon Falls’ current theming has been in a bit of a state since the statues around the drop got removed, and the paintwork hardly looks fresh. It’s also nice to hear about some new animal ...

Re: Heide Park

I saw something similar to this going on on the final hills when I saw there in October last year, with engineers walking along the track. I think they’re surveying the structure; I hope this means Colossos is more likely to survive, but I don’t think this tells us anything either way...
