Re: Fright Nights

wasn’t sure where to put this, thought this was the most appropriate place, but I’m planning to go to Fright Nights on Saturday and have two Premium passes and a friend is coming along so wondering what is the cheapest way to do it as I’m presuming you have to pre book so therefore can’t use the bri...

Re: Scarefest

Scaremazes were great today, highlight has to be sub species completely alone pretty much, most scares came in there, about 2 big jumps in Altonville Mine Tours, the best for theming and story in my opinion. The biggest scare for me came in Terror Of The Towers, which was probably up there with sub ...

Re: SW8 Speculation and Discussion

Hearing actors in the welcoming were mentioning 'the ram' a lot apparently, if true, is the theming element a ram, with them horns, and the wickerman has been the thing to mislead us?

Re: Towers Loving Care

How many people prefer guns over no guns? For me it's got to be the guns, unless they choose to go tomb blaster style in their TLC.

Re: 2015-2019: Possible Developments?

There are some things that should be sentimental, and some things that shouldn't. Pleasure beach has half and half balance, and I don't really get bored there, Towers doesn't have many older coasters, however you can argue that the rides that have been removed are rather poor/unpopular. You've also ...

Re: Tayto Park

I believe the hotel is set to open in 2021/22 from what I've seen. They are getting a junior/family coaster next year, presumably 2 more flats as well. Their biggest investment is set to be in 2019, with a major coaster, which I'm 99% sure will be a Mack or B&M, and there were whispers of the da...

Re: Tayto Park

It's also very close to Dublin, so might not strictly be there for park visitors. I guess you could come, spend a day in the park, and then do the city the next day. Also, Cu Chulainn back row is amazing!

Re: Tayto Park

That's my excuse for a 'family reunion' with family I've never actually met, don't know when viking voyage is going to open though, looks fantastic. If Merlin could do that quality it would be great!

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Looks ahead of schedule to me.. they could have this thing up before 2018 at this rate, doing testing from around december meaning... an actual opening day on the first day of the season!

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

it goes under the landscape in that area as far as i'm aware. I remember hearing in closed season they had to sort out the rapid's system before any major work could start on SW8. maybe it's to do with that or possibly Sharkbait Reef. surely the fish won't be ok with the coaster in operation though?

Re: Planning Summer Trips

For Liseberg, head towards Loke, Jukebox, Kallerado and Balder, then towards Flume ride and Mechanica where there is another small escalator or set of stairs towards aerospin. Afterwards head along the path towards Helix and Atmosfear via screaming swing. If you like burgers have Max, in the buildin...

Am I right in thinking the buildings have changed again on those plans? Also it looks like it has horns, could be a minotaur.

From what I've heard they were looking at B&M or Mack coasters. The summer openings are slightly annoying though :lol

Re: Tayto Park

Remember how much money the company that owns tayto has though. In reality, Merlin and Tayto are similar. Both monopolise their countries (Ireland and UK). The difference is Tayto are doing it right, look at how much effort is going into it. Won't be too long until people head over to Ireland for Ta...

Re: Area Speculation and Discussion

If you enter in GW then the walk back round from the exit would make re rides way too much effort :lol. Maybe the entrance can be where you turn off into haunted hollow on the mutiny Bay side of things, I remember seeing something like 'extended Q' or similar on the application.

Re: NL2 Community Park Project

First picture update! currently reworking the Wooden Coaster from scratch pretty much! It will have 2-3 trains, either 2 30 (Balder style trains) seaters or 3 20 seaters (Trailered 2 seats, like Twister at Grona Lund, but longer). This is where you choose! Which train type do you want to see, and wh...
