Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019?

Close- it's £9, so considering that the Towers one is rumoured to have rides and I could imagine it being a bit longer, I want to think it'd be a bit more expensive.

Re: Scarefest - General Discussion

Best year for me was 2015. I believe this was because it was the first time I did it, I was the one leading our group and the finale was even louder than other years. 2017s version was the most consistent maze the park offered :)

Re: Tifford Valley Theme Park

Hey guys, we've hit a bit of a technical hitch so we thought we'd update you on it and how that's gonna affect the project. A couple days back, George suggested we updated the server to the latest snapshot so we could make use of the new aquatic features, so we wouldn't have to redo the kids area ri...

Re: Project 42 (Nemesis Sub-Terra) - New for Scarefest 2018

A big issue with using the drop towers would be how expensive it would be to hire all the actors and the extra staff needed to run the ride. It'd also be a bit weird for them to service/rebuild the ride just for Scarefest.

Re: Last ride you have been on

Currently is Saw, got off last week only to realise it had a super short queue and was about to close so we thought we'd go round again.

Re: Efteling

Looopings have reported that Symbolica and the Fantaiserijk area will be receiving Harry Potter style magic wands in Autumn. The Efteling will sell interactive wands next autumn. With the so-called Twinkeltoortsen, visitors will soon be able to activate special effects in and around the newest Symb...

Coasterforce have shared this video on their Youtube channel, and this ride looks like one of the better wing coasters.

Too soon to plan another visit? :lol

Re: TowersTimes' Summer Festival - 4th August 2018 - Discussion

How are standard passholders going to gain entry to the park? The option to buy tickets for the restriction dates have been removed from the website and they're saying on Facebook that there's no booking option for this date.

Re: Tifford Valley Theme Park

Before we get to the big announcement, I thought I’d briefly go over how we’ve worked on the park. Tifford started off small and with no clear direction. Cory and I were chatting about previous projects we’d individually worked on and how we should do one together, so he setup a server, we invited ...

Now that you've said that, cue the rain :lol
Jokes aside this looks like another fab event, I'll have to take it slow during the Nemesis ERT this time so I don't feel stupidly ill again :lol

Re: Tifford Valley Theme Park

Just a quick, small update today. All of our rides on park are now complete, all that's left to do is polish and re-do some older stuff and finish off the resort. On Sunday we're going to announce when we're putting the resort up for download! Until then enjoy a look at the theme park from over head...

Re: Merlin Entertainments file a UK trademark for ‘The Alton Towers Dungeon’

Whilst the Dungeons are popular, I'd rather they didn't install one at Towers. It's very much a "one and done" thing- I've only done two (Warwick and London), but they both use a lot of the same shows that lose the spark after your first run. I don't see myself doing another dungeon any ti...

Re: Your Favourite TV Shows

Haven't been watching a lot lately as I can't find something to suit my tastes, so I thought I'd review what I've been watching the past year. First up is Breaking Bad, and WOW. Hands down my favourite programme, nothing even comes close to how good it is. Never before have I been invested in a TV s...

Theme Park Guide  have shared some more pictures of Sub's containers being put up. This picture shows that the duck down exiting from the alien's nest has been put back up. Does this mean that any major changes will take place before the bridge? https://i.imgur.com/Fcvps2T.png

Splatoon 2: Octo Expansion
WOW. I was incredibly excited for this being a huge fan of the base game as it is but this DLC adds a great new single player experience that's really difficult. Definitely worth getting if you already have the game.

Re: Ideas & Suggestions

Really good idea, it'd be nice if we could have an extended tour of the ruins and maybe see some areas that are usually shut off.
