Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Tomb Raider: 6/10 It was okay. I love the games, so found it an enjoyable watch, but the plot is rather thin and probably wouldn't appeal to masses. Ready Player One: 9/10 Loved this. Had the chance to see it two weeks early, and saw it again today in IMAX. Such a geekfest of a film and is littered ...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Black Panther: 8/10 Great addition to the universe. One of the best Marvel films to date in my personal opinion. Phantom Thread: 8/10 Absolutely loved this. Wonderful acting, incredible costume design and one of Day-Lewis' best performances. Only detractor was that it felt slightly too long. The Sha...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Darkest Hour - 8/10 Gary Oldman was outstanding in his role, and overall very solid from start to finish. Only detractor for me was the tube scene, but doesn't take much from the film at all. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri - 9/10 My favourite for best picture so far (though I'm yet to see...

Re: Winter Wonderland - Hyde Park London

The planning documents for this year's event are now online, and so is the potential map of attractions.
The map shows that Olympia Looping will return, and most of the lineup remains unchanged, a few flat rides have been replaced but there doesn't appear to be any major differences.

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

Okay so I was at Thorpe yesterday and saw where that cherry picker has parked.. however that's literally just it.. a cherry picker, 4 structure frames of The Swarms cars, and a few pallets with blankets over them.. so unless it's something to do with The Swarm.. i'm stumped :-k Sorry for the double...

Re: Thorpe Park - General Discussion

Purely speculation, but could it have something to do with the current refurbishment going on with X? It was in a dire state, the audio is almost inaudible combined with the bizarre single riders rule. Could be an excuse to bolt "World's First" onto something.

There is already track at the bottom of the lift. Follow the angle and it looks like so.
Far more lift hill still to come.

Out of all the parks, why Chessington? At this rate it will have more accommodation than it does decent rides!
