Battle For Cedar Point and Kings Dominion

I've been really curious about this AR game for Cedar Point and now Kings Dominion and I was wondering if anyone's got the chance to play and what they think about it.

Re: Strange Theme Park Related Fears!

I have the weirdest fear of that animatronic at the start of the Saw ride at Thorpe. It just terrifies me! I'm not sure why tho cause I've ridden the ride soooo many times and yet I still can't get over that thing at the beginning.

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train

I find the new VR so much better and now I'm incredibly excited for next year. Derren Brown has become my fav magician because of this ride. I think it's a marvel and it's quickly becoming a must do at Thrope for me. But I do hope that they get the technical problems down because it is a bit ahead o...

Woah it is! I've been meaning to get into AHS but I keep putting off...

I just started watching Durarara and it's incredible. It's an ensemble cast and every character is fascinating. It's a really interesting story but there's not much I can say without spoilers so just watch!

Dunkirk - 8/10
Mind blowing, and I found incredible. Though I didn't like how that when they showed you what was going to happen in the other timelines.

Emoji movie - -infinity/10
Just why? It's basically ads the movie.

Re: Galactica - A worth while investment?

Main points on why Galactica is the final nail in the coffin for poor Air - Throughput is so low that most people skip it if it's over half an hour - The VR is terrible and will be replaced by next year - It doesn't really tie into the environment besides the logic that is oh look Nemesis Creature l...

Re: Create your own backstories!

I've got one for Galactica! And it ties it to Nemesis and Nemesis Sub Terra too! After the discovery of the egg, Phalanx went into shut down, investigating again and again the nemesis pit, trying to learn all they could about the creature. In this process, a team was formed with the sole intent of f...

Re: Duel: Retheme, Replace or Remove?

I, personally, like Duel the way it is. If I was Alton Towers, I would hang onto Duel for a few years more, at least 5. Then, in that time VR and other pieces of technology would've gotten a lot better. I'd copy Bubbleworks and auction off the old effects and parts of the ride, before then redoing i...

Re: Towers Loving Care

Yeah!! I love the idea of the monorails being themed to the Big 6 (soon big 7). It'd bring the park full circle a little more and it'd just be awesome. It would also make a great talking piece when entering the park and create some hype (which would make much more sense than jelly beans... can someo...

Re: Alton Towers: The Lost Back Stories

So, i think i may have found the actuall backstory to thirteen on altons website So, the (presumably) same people who uncovered the chained oak have found another site while taking up the corkscrew. With a stroke of unluck, the workers uncovered a whole comunity of spectral wraiths trapped in the c...

Re: Ghost Stories of Alton Towers

I love all things paranormal and I wouldn't be at all surprised if some mysterious things lurk at AT. There's the old towers, the old grounds and gardens and of course the legend of the chained oak! Plenty of history to back up claims of experiences. Can you imagine walking through some of the forg...

Re: Galactica

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before but I was wondering why did they remove the single rider queue for Galactica that Air had?
And I'm really sorry. I don't remember many down periods for Air but I wasn't at the park that much and it was tooo long ago for me to remember...
