Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion

I mean I know the Warner Bros Studio Tour in Watford, fairly near to me, had plans to become a universal park, but it feels a little too late now for the land to be used for developments. The site is being used a lot for lots of Warner Bros films like the DC ones. Potentially, it would be a great pl...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Something weird I've noticed with the theming structure is the scale. The head is tiny compared to the shoulders and if anything be connected with some wort of larger neck. Also, it appears the top half is a different colour to the rest of it, making it look a bit weird. Anyway, time will tell to se...

Re: Gardaland

The reason with Kung Fu Panda Master long queue is its' low capacity and also there are very few attractions in the area but credit where credit is due. The area before felt dead and particularly when top spin was removed, it felt even worse. I've got no issues with Peppa Pig coming to an area which...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

The Last Jedi - 7.5/10

Some bits were fantastic but it felt too long and the humour was unecessary. Personally, the points where the film got darker was when the film became far more entertaining so it was a bit annoying it wasn't like this most of the time.

Re: Legoland Windsor - The Future

It has been announced the resort will be gaining 3 attractions/ walkthroughs for next year. They are Miniland USA (American buildings), Miniland Around the World (worldwide buildings and Lego Reef (making your own fish via screens, with the ability to interact with it). Bearing mind last year, it wa...

It's slightly weird though that the Sunday summer opening hours are just 10-5.

Re: X:\ No Way Out

The beach was absolutely packed and there were still quite a lot of younger people, when I visited. At the end of the day, X was an attraction for both children, teenagers and adults. This will mostly cater for the latter two groups. As good as it sounds in theory, parks shouldn't just cater for jus...

Re: X:\ No Way Out

The thing is, however much Merlin may want to deny it, there are lots of families and younger children who do come to the resort, and with this news, that's one less ride for them to do.

Re: X:\ No Way Out

I'm not at all looking forward to this whatsoever. A good, fun, recently refurbished family attraction is turning into something dark and depressing, to fit even less in the surrounding area. Thorpe Park was starting to go back to it's good old roots, with a higher focus on family fun rather than ap...

Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach

I'm not exactly the biggest fan of the colour scheme. It looks a bit bland. At least, the POV colour scheme was a bit more exciting and different. Isn't it the same colour as in the POV. A white/grey colour. Having never been to Blackpool, I can't really comment on the coaster's location, but its a...

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Justice League - 4/10 My expectations for the film were met but saying that, they were very low. Acting felt poor, compared to Thor: Ragnorak. The film just had a colour scheme of black, white and red. Villain was bland and boring. The CGI was awful at times. lot of scenes felt like they needed anot...

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

As annoying it may be, these closed days don't exactly bother me, especially if they mean opening times are longer on open days. At the end of the day, the amount of people who visit on off peak days is minute, compared to peak days.

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Murder on the Orient Express - 4.5/10 I guess it was quite funny at some points, because it was so bad. Comedy was abysmal, not at all funny or even amusing. The opening scene was not even cleverly thought of, and felt quite bland. The investigation throughout was quite boring and just very poorly t...

I agree with that. It would be a bit of a dead decision. (I apologize for that awful pun but I couldn't resist it :lol). Anyway, I'm still hoping for a flat ride on Slammer's site, however unlikely that will be.

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Thor: Ragnorak - 8/10 So today I saw my first Thor film and it was pretty good. Comedy was alright but nothing compared to GOTG: V2 or Lego Batman Movie. The CGI was, for the majority of the time, very well done but it was never as clever or colourful as GOTG:V2. Acting wise, the star performer, esp...

Re: Disneyland Resort

So with the Eastern Gateway project being cancelled (which has now caused a sort of conflict between Anaheim and Disney), Disney have now announced a new 6500 car park structure, on the site of the Pinocchio surface parking. This news may seem good at first but it may potentially reduce the size of ...

The Carex soaps have 1 half price ticket for every soap brought on the day, so for 2 half price soaps, you will need to bring in 2 soaps. :)
