Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Avengers - 7/10 I've only just seen the film, after all these years, and there is no doubt that it's over-rated, but it's not bad in any way. My main issue is the film takes far too long to get to the main sections, so the first third of the film lacks the momentum to really get me interested. Blac...

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

£20 would be the ideal price, for what is actually inside of it. It's not even like you can use an onride photo, and literally just looks like they went to moonpig and just inserted the wicker man logo for everything.

Re: Thorpe Park Resort - General Discussion

It's literally you being told to go to the safe zone and then voice mail. Nothing too important in there.

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Stranger Things Season One - 9/10
Definitely a very good series with a good mix of comedy, drama and more horror elements.

Coco - 8/10
Solid film that maybe could have had some more memorable pieces of music.

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

Daddy's Home - 6/10 Funny film but a bit cringey. Basically an average film, that's nothing spectacular, but nothing awful. Darkest Hour - 6.5/10 The comedy here really, really felt out of place and just was not necessary in ruining the story's atmosphere. It also felt like another Dunkirk, which fe...

For those of you wondering about DBGT not being a failure, in its' third season it is already going to open 2 hours after the rest of the park does.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

This is awful, abysmal news. The park will soon realise they have made a major mistake. and the park will only continue to make their lives harder and harder in increasing the amount of visitors coming. I can only dread what the new for 2019 cuts are

Re: The Last Film You Watched and Your Rating

The Greatest Showman - 7/10 It was a good, solid film. There were moments though where I really thought parts were done in a disappointing manner such as the message of diversity being important, which should have been the main message, rather than a small thought near the end. Also, the ending felt...

Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion

I mean I know the Warner Bros Studio Tour in Watford, fairly near to me, had plans to become a universal park, but it feels a little too late now for the land to be used for developments. The site is being used a lot for lots of Warner Bros films like the DC ones. Potentially, it would be a great pl...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Something weird I've noticed with the theming structure is the scale. The head is tiny compared to the shoulders and if anything be connected with some wort of larger neck. Also, it appears the top half is a different colour to the rest of it, making it look a bit weird. Anyway, time will tell to se...

Re: Gardaland

The reason with Kung Fu Panda Master long queue is its' low capacity and also there are very few attractions in the area but credit where credit is due. The area before felt dead and particularly when top spin was removed, it felt even worse. I've got no issues with Peppa Pig coming to an area which...

The Last Jedi - 7.5/10

Some bits were fantastic but it felt too long and the humour was unecessary. Personally, the points where the film got darker was when the film became far more entertaining so it was a bit annoying it wasn't like this most of the time.

Re: Legoland Windsor - The Future

It has been announced the resort will be gaining 3 attractions/ walkthroughs for next year. They are Miniland USA (American buildings), Miniland Around the World (worldwide buildings and Lego Reef (making your own fish via screens, with the ability to interact with it). Bearing mind last year, it wa...

Re: X:\ No Way Out

The beach was absolutely packed and there were still quite a lot of younger people, when I visited. At the end of the day, X was an attraction for both children, teenagers and adults. This will mostly cater for the latter two groups. As good as it sounds in theory, parks shouldn't just cater for jus...

Re: X:\ No Way Out

The thing is, however much Merlin may want to deny it, there are lots of families and younger children who do come to the resort, and with this news, that's one less ride for them to do.
