Re: Mutiny Bay Smokehouse

Does anyone think that this is to compliment SW8 next year, similar to that of RCR and Galactica, I mean I love how Towers expanding their F&B options, and Mutiny Bay was already the best F&B place in the park. However if this is going to be in the same area as SW8, SW8 not looking likely to...

Re: Busch Gardens Tampa

Going with what Burniel said about Merlin only doing one large investment a year. This is not true as Merlin have made multiple large investments in one year, 2011 we saw Krake and Raptor and in 2013 we saw Zufari and The Smiler. I think Merlin would still treat SeaWorld/Busch Gardens with the same...

Re: LEGO Ninjago World - 2017

I got on Ninjago for the first time today and I actually enjoyed it much even though it was screens the effects made it feel realistic with the 3D. However I have a few minor complaints with it. Firstly for an attraction only a couple of months old, the queueline paint seems to be flaking off. Secon...

Re: Busch Gardens Tampa

I really hope not as well from a enthusiast's perspective but I would see why from a financial perspective. Going with what Burniel said about Merlin only doing one large investment a year. Re: SW8 Speculation and Discussion

Just looked up the Myaminyami on Wikipedia and I found something quite interesting... Heavy earth-moving equipment roared into the valley and tore out thousands of hundred-year-old trees to build roads and settlements to house the workers who poured into the area to build a  dam  that would harness ...

Re: The Future of Nemesis Sub-Terra

With going with what has already been said, they could add some props in the finale sequence, I heard their was an alien animatronic in Sub Species which never worked and was removed from the maze in 2016, if Towers still have the animatronic, they could use it in the finale as a static figure but w...

Could someone post them pictures on a different site? I can't see them.

And by Sub Terra you mean Sub Species, right?

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

I noticed this when watching TPWW's most recent blog, It seems like a tribal necklace to me.  A dragon would explain a lot though, It would also explain the horns on the wickerman from the planning application. A dragon would also explain the piping(could be for sewage though) that is supposedly for...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

I'd imagine it's a wood structure because they could say, much like Mystic Timbers, it is theming. I mean it would be weird having a large wooden wickerman then steel supports everywhere. I'm sure the reason behind it will be revealed in marketing for SW8 in time.

Re: Universal Orlando Resort

It's also not been confirmed they're being 'forgotten', there had been chatter that a new version of the attraction will appear in Park 4... So basically Hulk treatment but in a different park? It would be nice to this done to the rides as it would be a shame to lose 2 B&M Inverts.  Also What i...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Also did anyone see the TS post yesterday, about the Rapids having old themed items added.. might just be reading into it too much but could have something to do with SW8..? You mean this? https://scontent.flhr2-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/20229134_1546732175397221_7030652557759513991_n.jpg?oh=e329ec1...

Re: Project 2020

I as far as I'm aware Thorpe Park have certain height limits for certain areas, for example one of the lowest height limits is 100ft(I've heard at least, you guys know how accurate I am with this stuff) whereas I've also heard that they can build up to 500ft in some areas. With how small Thorpe Park...

In what way do you mean size? Height of the ride or track length?

Ahh, I should of been more specific, I meant height, both rides are 21m high but obviously SW8 uses it's terrain whereas Rita's lowest point is station height.

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

The Smiler's first outdoor drop minus the inversion.  Isn't that just corkscrew's first drop though? :P It seems to dip down, flatten out, then dip down some more, anyone else think that that could potentially carry some airtime? I was on about this short bit. (0:58)   nev42bBEvPI But also, as ...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

You know what else SW8's first drop reminds me of, The Smiler's first outdoor drop minus the inversion.  It's funny how 2 completely different coasters can compliment each other so nicely! One one hand we have on coaster built wth concrete and lots of steel and the next coaster built out of dirt and...

One film coming out in 2018 I am looking forward to is the Fantastic Beasts Sequel, which will revolve around Dumbledore and Grindlewald. As I went to the Warner Bros Studio in London I saw one the actual sets for the next film! My excitement levels drastically rose!

Re: London Entertainment Resort - General Discussion

I would treat any rumour of Universal putting their name to this project with a pinch of salt. It may be that London Resort Company Holdings have spoken to NBC and Universal about potentially using some of their IPs, however I very much doubt it would be a full universal park, especially given the ...
