Re: Walt Disney World - Disney's Animal Kingdom

TWDC will still be profiting from Pandora, but probably less than they would have liked. Problem is, when Pandora pulls guests from other parts of the resort, its quite likely they will have already paid for a park hopper ticket if they are staying onsite, and so, can go wherever they want without i...

Re: Walt Disney World - Disney's Animal Kingdom

From what I have heard, Pandora seems to be pulling in guests from other parks at the resort rather than increasing the number of guests at the whole resort, resulting in massive lines in Pandora, slightly lesser lines in other places at the resort, and not much extra profit for TWDC.

Re: Disneyland Resort Paris

I hadn't heard of that rumour. I know that at one point, EuroDisney discussed having a major Marvel Land in WDS, but never head of any ride specifics for it, and I think most people just assumed that Rock 'n' Rollercoaster would get a retheme, along with most other attractions in the backlot. While ...

Re: Disneyland Resort Paris

Forbes: Euro Disney Planning Blockbuster New Attraction For 2024 Interesting. I'm not too sure on how credible this claim is, but certainly interesting to hear. The article seems to suggest that a Tower of Terror retheme to Guardians of the Galaxy is a possibility, but given the facade renovation w...

Re: Walt Disney World - Magic Kingdom

According to thekingdominsider.com, construction on the new theatre near Main Street began on the 28th October, must mean that permits have already been filed and approved if necessary.   Here is a link to the full article:  http://thekingdominsider.com/construction-disneys-new-theater-magic-kingdom...

I don't see why they can't just put more flats in the Dark Forest though... there is some room in there.

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

Alton Towers Resort has been awarded a silver award for Large Visitor Attraction of the Year 2017. Additionally, as I also mentioned in the CBeebies Land Hotel topic, the CBeebies Hotel won a gold award for Best Hotel 2017 from the Staffordshire Tourism Awards.

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

I guess it alright being annoyed at the amount of closed dates, but they are probably only trying to respond to the amount of demand by looking at this year to predict next year. Scarefest this year was by far the busiest I've seen it and likely the resort want to make the most of that next year. Th...

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

Isn't the current construction by the Enchanted Village to do with a Santa tipi for Christmas? Possibly. I was there Monday morning and Ents were supervising a delivery of long wooden polls. Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

I do hope they don't get rid of the current yellow boats and they just make the modifications to the existing boats. That's purple boat really wouldn't suit Congo River Rapids!

That rock wall has been done so so well. Had I not known it was fake upon seeing the completed ride, I would probably assume it was completely real!

Re: Past rides: "Where are they now?" The Guide

Okay, so I was just playing around on Google Maps when I randomly clicked on a location around near Stoke-on-Trent. To my surprise I had actually clicked accurately on Staffordshire without knowing it and was automatically directed to that page. Looking through some images I found this one: https://...
