Re: Theme Music

TowersStreet have published an interview with IMAscore co-founder, Andreas Kübler. It's an interesting read for sure, so I'd recommend checking it out! :)

Re: Towers Loving Care

It's good to see the TLC on Nemesis finally getting finished! I just hope that after this they continue to maintain it so it doesn't get in to such a bad state again.

Looking good though! :)

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

I have to admit, it did look as though it was released a bit too soon, as it appeared to show way to much of the actual ride and the Wicker Man itself. :)

The park looks absolutely amazing and has some fantastic looking rides, so it's definitely on my bucket list! :)

Re: The Future of Nemesis Sub-Terra

I think that the actor thing makes this quite a tricky thing for Alton Towers to solve. That is if they don't want to spend the money on actors anyway. Nemesis: Sub Terra is an experience - the ride itself is only a small part of it - so when you remove other aspects of the experience, as a whole, i...

Re: Towers Loving Care

Latest update from @AltonTLC, more repainted facades on Towers Street! https://pbs.twimg.com/media/DTwRZMpW4AArwiL?format=jpg I must say, looking brilliant! :) Also, Alton Towers have confirmed on Facebook that all the Towers Street facade repaints will be completed during this closed season! I for...

Re: Wicker Man Construction Discussion

Thanks Joe for pointing out that they have to plant trees before it opens. Should make the area look quiet nice once they grown a bit! Also, I did notice that some vegetation had already been planted in some areas, I was just wondering if we would see any actual trees planted at some point (which it...

Re: February Half Term 2018

I'm not too familiar with this event, but I'm presuming that those Pirates of Mutiny Bay shows won't  be performed in Mutiny Bay's Courtyard if they don't get a move on with dismantling The Welcoming?  With the exception of Sharkbait Reef, the theme park is closed during the FHT event. All of the e...

Re: Mutiny Bay Smokehouse

I have to agree, I too am slightly worried how that area of the park is going to cope with the larger numbers of people wanting to use the current food and beverages offerings. One thing I have heard suggested is the possibility that Towers might have Towers Street Bar open for more of the year, alt...

I'm really not sure how reliable this is, but according to TowersStreet Facebook page, the Smokehouse in Mutiny Bay will now not be opening for 2018.

Re: Wicker Man Construction Discussion

If I'm honest, it'd seem like a bit of a design flaw to have the ORP right at the entrance of the ride, and not near the exit. One thing I was wondering, does anyone else think that we could be seeing some trees / more vegetation planted around the ride area, or are they just going to leave it to gr...

Re: Towers Loving Care

(Sorry for the double post!) Another interesting update from TowersStreet, the entrance plaza is having new concrete barriers and bollards installed. I just hope they do something with the concrete blocks as they look absolutely horrible, but obviously they need to take these precautions after all t...

Re: The Future of Sonic Spinball

I mean, if Towers were desperate to expand CBeebies without using up any more back stage areas, then Spinball is really the only option. Considering the council also are keen for the rides removal, I do think it to be likely to go at some point in the near future. It is a fun little ride and very po...
