Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

The sign needed updating. It's good they have done that. I was half expecting them to be cheap and not bother.

It's looking like the rest of the Scandinavian area is suffering pretty badly.

Re: Europa Park

Update EuropaStreet are reporting that the fire is looking more under control. They are also reporting that other rides on the park are still operating as normal, and only the area immediately surrounding the fire was evacuated. Re: Europa Park

This is very very serious. Pirates in Batavia is gone, for sure. I just really hope they evacuated in time. :(

Re: Europa Park

Update

Europa Park have confirmed that the fire did start in the Pirates in Batavia dark ride, however it appears to have spread pretty quickly into the nearby areas.

Re: Alton Towers Resort - General Discussion

I can live with that. I rarely ever use the Skyride nowadays anyway, although I appreciate it is a necessity for some people.

I can see the updated ERT line-up on the website but, unless I’m being blind, I can’t see where it details the rest of the changes.

Ahh, I should have said, the updated times were all listed on ridetimes.co.uk :)

Re: Dark ride ideas

Air/Galactica my personal opinion is that its a great idea with, and I hate to say it, an awful track layout. It's meant to give the feeling of flight, but you spend half the track on your back like an upside down turtle or ladybird. I'd like to see something like Chessington's Vampire combined wit...

Re: Hong Kong Disneyland

Yeah, definitely! Some of the newer additions such as Mystic Manor demonstrate not just fantastic theming, but also storytelling at its very best!  The castle transformation I have mixed feelings on. On one hand, it was the smallest castle, even smaller than the original in California and it did ser...

Re: Alton Towers 40th Anniversary in 2020

So.... we could get another 80s themed concert... fingers crossed they at least want to do something a bit more imaginative than that. They could invest in something more long term.... like some new rides :P

Re: Duel - General Discussion

I think it's a lot more atmospheric than the old. Although I think the old music better suited the type of ride that it was. It's like they want Duel to be both an amazing haunted house and a laser shooting dark ride... regardless, I still like it better than the old music!

Re: Scarefest

It's sounding like this Scarefest will be pretty similar to the last one in terms of the main attractions. I hope The Welcoming returns alongside a new zone near Wicker Man with the Beornen and fire dancers etc., and I also hope that we get some new scare zones around the rest of the park, even if t...
