Re: Travelling to/from European parks

Can I also add Efteling to that list, Burrito? I'm sure that is fairly well connected with train and bus services.

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

I think we need to be grateful that we're getting a themed wall rather than a simple concrete one. They really seem to be going for the theming with SW8, even little things like the wooden land braces that they have installed around the footers. I never said that I was ungrateful... I merely just t...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Well... I quite enjoyed the update! It's great to see some of the theming coming together! I also really like the way the station theme is going with the weathered wood cladding. I also really like the idea of having a rock wall, but they could have used real rick couldn't they?! Still, I'm sure on...

I must admit that even with announcements like these, the more time that seems to pass by, the more I feel this project may never go ahead...

Leigh, when I have a bit of spare time, I'll have a look around the internet... I'm sure I'll be able to find it!  :)

Re: SeaWorld Orlando

This is the sort of thing that some animal rights activists don't think about. If there was no SeaWorld, then other rescue facilities would suffer even more pressure. I think it is great that SeaWorld has the facilitys to help animals after natural disasters like Hurricane Irma - it just shows what ...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

Right, so we can rule the Fireworks out then. I'm torn between wether they could be doing stuff for Scarefest or SW8... although the time might not be right for installation of lights on SW8, Sappire need to know the plans from AT, so that could still explain why they were onsite... but I still thin...

Re: SW8 Construction Discussion

It says to their website that they specialise in fireworks, lighting, audio and events, to this could be related to a number of different things, like Scarefest, Fireworks or possibly SW8. Considering the stage that SW8 construction is at, I wounding have thought lighting effects would be being inst...

Re: What do you think should replace CCL?

CCL at the moment dosen't really seem to have any decent attractions at the moment... I mean, the Cuckoo Cars Driving School has absolutely zero appeal in my opinion... the area needs a coaster just to make it noticeable on the park maps, and so more people might venture into the area.

It is a funny shape, but my guess is that this is just the way it has been wrapped up.

I second that, Luce. You never seem to hear much about Walibi parks. This one seems pretty basic, but possibly has some potential.

Justin, it wasn't the Burger Kitchen in CCL that made you feel unwell by any chance?

Perhaps they need to do a "Thorpe Loving Care"!

Or maybe it could be the location for the 2020 development?

Re: Best/Worst places to eat in Alton Towers?

Actually Jack, I do prefer the donuts from Nemesis, but only slightly. And if I'm honest, there is probably no actual difference between the different locations anyway.

Re: Mutiny Bay Smokehouse

Does anyone think that this is to compliment SW8 next year, similar to that of RCR and Galactica, I mean I love how Towers expanding their F&B options, and Mutiny Bay was already the best F&B place in the park. Actually, I don't think that the new restaurant will necessarily be themed to SW...
