Re: Blackpool Pleasure Beach

I just got back from Blackpool, and rode Icon for the first time today. The ride is fun and exciting, and easily the best at Blackpool. It is good in the front and the back. Overall, it is about as good as Wicker Man, but not best in the country

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

Ride Acces Pass. It's used by people who aren't able to use the main queue or aren't able to queue for long periods of time due to a disability. Important to note that it is not Fastrack though, as even though the pass holder doesn't have to wait in the main queue line, they still have to wait a ce...

Re: The Smiler - General Discussion

Wait has anyone noticed how they’ve completely destroyed the main queue? Not only did they take out a very important single rider queue, they now expect the general queue and a special fast track (idk much about it I think it’s the disabled but they came in at the bottom of the stairs?) to merge wi...

As long as Sub Species returns I’m happy! I adore the maze, as it is so intense!

Uhhh am I the only one seeing that the original video has been taken down?

No, It shows the video doesn’t exist for me. Wonder if Thorpe contacted whoever did it and asked for the video to be removed, or they are tricking us

I feel so sorry for all guests involved and Cedar Point. I don’t get how this has happened, but at least everyone is ok.

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

Just spotted this on channel 4 website: Alton Towers (title TBC) A one off documentary will go behind the scenes at Alton Towers, the UK’s biggest theme park as they launch their multi-million pound new rollercoaster, Wickerman. Eagerly awaited by rollercoaster enthusiasts as the first wooden rolle...

That sounds like an RMC. “New beginnings from old traditions” sounds like something new is coming from an old attraction, like an RMC from a woodie, guess we just have to wait to see...

Re: Rate the Rollercoasters (2018 Edition)

Just out of curiosity @JC13, why exactly do you rate Nemesis so low, and Rita so high? It doesn't make sense! :lol I don’t mind roughness at all, so Rita’s headbanging doesn’t bother me, and I love launches, so I love the launch, and I find Rita to have good airtime, which I love. I’d take airtime ...

Time to trigger people 1: Rita 2: Wicker Man 3: The Smiler 4: Th13teen 5: Oblivion 6: Galactica 7: Spinball Whizzer 8: Nemesis 9: Runaway Mine Train 10: Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure I find Rita godly, and it sits as my number 2 overall, only behind Shambhala. Wicker Man has a good shot of becom...

Today was good for ride availability. Wicker Man only went down once or twice all day, and Oblivion closed once. Apart ftom that, I think all the other coasters were open all day!

Re: Wicker Man Reviews & Discussion [SPOILERS]

After having ridden Wicker Man 9 times, I feel like I can give my review. The area around the ride is beautiful, and the music really compliments the area. Big Bob really does look intimidating from the ground. I love the entrance for the ride, it just fits in and looks great with the coaster speedi...

Re: PortAventura World

The childrens area at Ferrari Land has opened today, not heard any opinions yet, but it looks like a decent area. Not sure if Red Force Junior has opened though, as when I was there at the start of April it hadn’t even started being built. There were footers, but no supports or track
