Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

I'm probably going to show my age now, but those screen grabs kind of remind me of the old children's TV show, Knightmare :lol I too am of the age to remember this classic programme. Always on a Friday afternoon. If I remember correctly Alton Towers did have a VR type team game thingy. It was many ...

Re: Thorpe Park Merchandise

Does anyone know if the Flying Fish Pin is only available to MAP Holders this weekend only? The reason I ask is we are at Chessington and Thorpe on the 3rd/4th July and was gonna get all pins then. Don't want to miss a pin for the collection or have to pay an extortionate amount from EBay if the Fly...

Re: Fireworks

So we've got the hotel booked already and also booked breakfast for the Monday. We always do hotel on the Sunday and waterpark on the Monday. I think it's a bit bad that we have to pay an extra £10 to guarantee entry even though we are booked already. I reckon though if you arrive with your MAP firs...

Re: Disneyland Resort Paris

Just about to get off the Eurostar. Gutted as I said earlier about Hyperspace Mountain but did get the other coaster creds at both parks and a haul of 17 pins. 2 of which were given free from Disney themselves so a bonus. Cheers Lewis for merging my 2 posts much apreciated. My signal wasn't the best...

Got to say Indiana Jones is by far the roughest coaster I've been on in a long time Still soooooo many Pin Badges to collect I spent a fortune on pins whilst I was there it got quite obsessive [emoji87] Sent from my iPhone u...

Re: Disneyland Resort Paris

Been quickly to DLP studios a d the main DLP park. Just watched the fireworks from The hotel. Haunted Mansion was all in French and also had downtime while we were onboard. Came off that to see people being evacuated off the lifthill for Big Thunder Mountain ..... I think I've brought a little of Al...

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train - New for 2016

I feel it's unfair to judge a ride after not properly experiencing it .... I do agree Jonny and yes perhaps I was being mega harsh with my post. It's just when you avoid all spoilers and the project has the potential and you finally get to ride...... To have the experience kinda ruined. I will go b...

Re: Derren Brown's Ghost Train - New for 2016

Just got back from Thorpe Park and finally managed to get on DBGT....... well what a £30 million disappointment. The ride was experiencing problems prior to opening so opened late which wasn't the problem. Got my photocard and went for Contamination check (photopoint) went to preshow which was good ...

Re: Alton Towers - General Discussion

Does anyone know where I can find more info regarding this annual Digipass as it's seems a good investment across all 4 parks. I just want to check the T&Cs so see if there is a limit per day. If not then I'll be getting one for use with my MAP this year

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Just to let you know, you have to pay an extra bit of money if you want a premium MAP using Tesco vouchers. These are still available. Cheers Morgan .... yeah it's £50 to upgrade as the voucher is only for a standard MAP we didn't have enough clubcard points this year so my partner has just renewed...

Re: The Merlin Annual Pass

Just got home from work and got a Merlin letter.... they have now cancelled the Merlin Membership Programme (for the people who don't know it was the same as an annual pass but you paid monthly at £15.99) It was launched a few years ago and they haven't run it in the last two years. So if uou got on...

Re: Disneyland Paris Refurbishments

Thinking of going to DLP September 2016 . I've been to Disney World Florida but my partner has never been so I've suggested DLP as a warmup. Reading the posts above I'm in mixed opinions now. Do you guys reckon it's still worth a visit ?
