Re: Land of the Tiger - New for 2018

Mack have been in and commisioned the ride to meet current standards. I wasn't aware that anything needed fixing prior. Jared - we say 'almost' as there were still a few days to the press day on Saturday (when the photo was posted) and there still could be snagging or amendments to be made. We had M...

Re: General Forum Discussion

We have updated the avatars in the local gallery featuring a selection of nice photos which are now 150x150 pixels wide.

If you use an existing local avatar already, please do select it again in the avatar section in your profile settings, which will then make it appear full size.

Yes, it baffles me why both companies think that the ride will sit happily operating in two very busy parks.

Flashpass all the way..

That fantastic Twitter account is just a testament of exactly how much construction is going on at the WDW Resort - it's incredible.

Looks great. I really hope they demolish / repaint the old rockwork in the foreground. Rather yucky!

It was built on a car park, so will definitely need some time to mature.

Re: PortAventura World

I think the problem with the park, and the reason why people say it is bland, is due to the Ferrari theme itself. The park in Abu Dhabi is the same. At least with the Spanish version, they have made a better attempt to install some landmarks from Italy and have some nice landscaping, which is lackin...

Re: Cedar Point

The lap bars are different on this compared to other RMC's - has more of a T-Bar type restraint, with a central bar through the middle rather than one either side of your legs.

Wonder what the reason for the change is, especially as Twisted Timbers opened with the previous style.

Re: Universal Orlando Resort

Great news. I wonder what Universal will do with the random plots of land scattered around.

Coaster track storage lots? :P

They definitely need a Merlin bag room to remove those from the equation..

Re: Europa Park

Never heard of any packages from the UK there. Unlike Port Aventura and Disney, they don't particularly market to us.

I loved throwing balls at Paul.

I am literally howling, haha!

What lovely feedback! Liam and the VIP team certainly did us proud on this event - look forward to working with them again in the future.

Re: Europa Park

Exactly - you can get by without knowing any German, but best to know the very basics.

Europa don't market to UK tourists (they don't really need to) so have very few visitors from here - but accept that English is a universal language so relevant signs, park maps etc can be found.

Re: Universal Orlando Resort

Am glad it is not a family inverted coaster. IOA lacks enough thrill rides, and any replacement coaster at leasts needs to appeal to the fans of the dearly lost Dragons.

Re: Liseberg

The Swarm is one of the only wing coasters where the vests lock and tighten throughout the ride. This was changed on future models and is a lot more comfortable.

I think Raptor and X Flight are the same.

Re: Wicker Man General Discussion

The restraints are being way too sensitive at the moment and the ride is not permitting average to large sized people to ride, when these same people would not have any issues on the other coasters in the park. Seems like even when the restraints are locking, the computer still says no. We rode five...
