Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

2-for-1 entry vouchers to the park and the new Alton Towers Dungeon have been released for visits in 2019. As well as suggesting an opening date of both the Dungeons and theme park of 23rd March 2019, the combined ticket indicates an upcharge addition like the similar attraction at Warwick Castle. C...

Thanks! Assuming I can work out how to upload them to imgur

You can use any website for hosting photos, and then add the URL between the tags that Justin has stated. For ease, you can also click the black photo icon in the menu bar above your reply to create them.

Re: The Alton Towers Dungeon - New for 2019

It's just disappointing that Merlin cannot come up with exciting new ride concepts. It's another horror themed attraction that a lot of people will not pay for if it is an upcharge. Alton Towers has never particularly had a 'horrible history', so I'm sceptical about how unique the attraction will be...

I guess mid-week? When I have been before during weekends it has never been too bad.

Seems they are open Friday to Sunday at this time of year anyway. The late closing time will help.

Re: ScareMazing - 20th October 2018 - Discussion

I know there may be a few questions about why there are no behind the scenes tours this year. Simply put, the resort cannot accomodate them due to operational reasons. This does not mean they are gone for good - but will not feature this time around. To compensate, we are taking over Nemesis which i...

The red lights do look fantastic.

I'm glad for such an iconic ride, the park really does look after it.

I think that is positive!?

There are rumours on another forum that the project has been cancelled as the contractors have not been paid.

More general information from an article posted a few weeks back here.

Re: Oblivion - General Discussion

Choosing which rides we hire for ERT would not be based around what footage we need, but we do like to alternate the coasters on the events so we'll try to film the rest over the course of next year.

Re: Chessington - The Future

That's a great ride.

However, right about now, any new additions would be welcome at Chessington.

It's coming on 15 years without a new coaster.

(And no, Scorpion Express does not count).

Re: Winter Wonderland - Hyde Park London

Interesting news about the Coaster Pass. Brand new for 2018, Christmas has come early for thrill seekers with the Hyde Park Winter Wonderland Coaster Pass, giving easy tap 'n' ride access to all of the 9 rollercoasters at Winter Wonderland. There is a minimum of £30 pre-payment when you first order ...

Have always said to myself I don't particularly do lists, but thought I'd give it a go. 1: Steel Vengeance 2: El Toro 2: Fury 325 3: Superman (SFNE) 4: Nitro 5: Montu 6: Expedition GeForce 7: Alpengeist 8: Helix 9: Bizarro 10: Iron Rattler 10a: Nemesis I didn't think anything would ever top El Toro,...

Re: Nemesis - General Discussion

How do you get accepted to film on rides? I have a GoPro and it would be nice to get some footage on the rides and attractions. The POV's were filmed on the recent TTSP event, outside of operating hours. Permission has to be obtained from the Press Office, and Health & Safety will need to appro...

Re: Rumba Rapids

Those plastic boats are not even made by Intamin - they replaced the originals, which had a much higher back rest, years ago.

Very much doubt the new safety measures are genuine either.

Wow, that's nearly 400ft. Only the Intamin towers attached to Kingda Ka and Superman top that.
