Pin Badges

Fri Jan 15, 2016 10:43 pm

Hello!
I am interested in knowing if anyone has the following pin badges they are willing to trade/sell towards a first time collector.
Nemesis sub Terra
Air (small)
Nemesis (round)
If you are selling any other pins please contact me and I may well be interested!
Many thanks

So I found these guys at a car boot sale

Image

I've seen the old original 90s Nemesis badge online before but I haven't seen the others anywhere. I've had a look online and I can't find any information about them. The little castle one looks like it could have been an old staff badge because it's not enamel like the others its in the pop style like other staff badges I've seen.

Any information would be great :)

What pin badges are available at Alton Towers this year? Thorpe Park had some nice ones (IMO) but cant find any photos of what AT have like limited edition ones etc. Are there any ones from 2015 left or have they all changed?

This year we have new limited edition badges from Galactica, TH13TEEN and Nemesis.

The Nemesis one looks like a pop badge stuck onto a pin. :)

Those pin badges look so nice :O I'm unsure whether to start collecting pin badges. Half of me says it's a waste of money, while the other half says "Oooh shiny! I want one!"

They also have a big AT pin for this year which I bought last time. Also a limited edition I assume!

Personally I'm not a fan of this year's pin badges. I preferred the big sparkly ones from last year, like the ATR one that's still going. These ones look a bit cheap, especially Nemesis.
And what would happen when the creature appeared?

With regards to new pins, there is a new Smiler one out and RCR are currently selling a pin (although limited).

Apparently, Alton have big plans for pins next year!

I've noticed for the new Smiler pin, the little card that describes the product in Buy the Smiler states 'Collect them all!'. Looks like we're getting a collectable set in future!

That's good, I like a proper little collection rather than a load of random ones that don't look like they belong together.

I believe there will be limited edition pins for all rides next year, along with a lanyard. This will form one collection. Apparently, they will be the smaller pins too which is excellent news!

Hi, new to the forum

I am looking for an oblivion and Rita pin badge to happily buy. My eldest finally hit 1.4m so took the family to their first visit to AT. However, they no longer do those two and we have the other 4 main coaster badges so looking to finish the big 6 off as a nice memory for her.

If anyone can meet this request please drop a message.

Thanks
Ash

It was officially released from July, although the RCR pin has been joined by other merchandise recently. It is a very nice pin for £4.

I've only recently been interested in pins but my mum found the original nemesis pin in a box of rubbish today.

I also heard that there is a new galactica one based around the portal for this season.

To my knowledge, there have been 4 new pins released this year. Rita, Nemesis, Galactica and the AT logo. There could be more, but I haven't visited the park this season yet. I have, however seen pictures.

You're right from what I saw on park this weekend Dom, the AT logo is in my opinion finally exactly what it should have been, small enough to go on a lanyard! In fact I really like all the pins this season.
