Anyone know why splash landings can't be booked from 19th sept to at least 26th Oct (I have not looked past that date)

I believe Splash Landings Hotel will be closed for the rest of the season from 19th September.

It's closed for "maintenance" I believe.

As splash Landings is the cheapest on-resort hotel, of it is closed, families will be more inclined to go for one of the slightly more expensive options. Also, the cbeebies hotel opened this year, so they have extra rooms available. However, does anyone know if the water park will be open during this time?

Speaking for myself, the cheaper options being unavailable just means I'm less likely to go at all.

According to the opening times page, the waterpark will be open as normal through to the end of the year. :)

If they have to close splash to force people in to cbeebies hotel then surely something has gone fundamentally wrong at some point, think they will man up and open it for scarefest? Because I can't see ATH being able to handle the standard
ATH mature entertainment AND the kids club from splash!
And don't get me started on bar space...

Also, most of the kids scarefest hotel entertainment happens in splash Landings, including a load of shows with patch himself! There's no way they'll be able to fit them all in the at hotel, but I can't see them changing their minds about closing for scarefest, song as we only two months away :sad

I find it quite ridiculous that they keep building all these hotels and planning expansions to the Enchanted Village despite having to close one of the existing hotels because they can't fill it. Stupid.

I am sure that the closure of the Splash Landings Hotel was already planned before the Cebeebies Land Hotel opened.

Restaurants

Sun Aug 13, 2017 11:29 pm

Hi everyone
Just a quick question.
Staying at the park bank holiday weekend.
Booked in to the roller-coaster restaurant, secret garden and splash landing restaurant.
Want to know what to pack for evening meals?
How smart do people dress??
Thank you in advance

As smart or as casual as you feel really, although men would feel overdressed in a shirt and tie. The resort is very much focused towards families so doesn't have dress codes in the restaurants; although I'd probably leave the onesie in your room. :lol

Wondering if anyone new where the wheel covers have gone on Nemesis, I'm sure they were there last year!

I believe the wheel covers have been removed due to them sustaining a fair amount of damage over the years.

They are there purely for aesthetic reasons so don't have any impact on the ride itself.

Hi everyone, I'm wanting to do a trip up to the Towers before I head back home, problem is I am on the other side of the country to the park and am not too keen on driving 5 hours to get to the park. Is there anyway of getting to the park via train? And is there multiple shuttles going to the park and train station?
