Good news I enjoyed the one time I was on it. When was it last operational and any signs of a re theme?

I'd like Samurai to be rethemed to Saw, maybe as a Saw trap, and renamed but not 'Saw:The Flat Ride'!!

Good idea, would need to be made really intense though. Like you feel like you're going to be ripped out of your seat.

Has it really? Nice to see that have it running again! I can't see that it will be around for much longer, though, it seems to be having frequent and prolonged periods of downtime at the moment.

It opened at 3 today. It did have consistently longish queues throughout its opening. I didn't see any coaster reach an hour and Samurai was getting longer queues than both Colossus and Stealth. The shortest I saw the queue was 15 minutes (one of the longer queue times of the day)

Had extensive downtime yesterday, originally said to be down for the day, but opened around 2:30. When it got going, it was running incredibly well. Best sequence I've ever had on it, long, lots of flips, lots of hangtime. It still struggles to lower though. Seems as if they've managed to prolong the life of Samurai that little bit more.

I reckon Samurai will be gone for the end of the year, the ride just needs more work doing to it than necessary. If we look at the last few years, there has been a lot of major breakdowns, they've tried to fix problems and it's always gone down for a extended period of time. When it is working, even on a long cycle it is dire for a top scan, whether that's due to problems with the ride itself, or just how Thorpe operate it I don't know, but I'm a massive Top Scan fan, and even I don't really like Samurai. By now it'd probably be better to get a brand new top scan :lol A saw trap theme could work brilliantly! I do think this year is the last for Samurai though.

Such a shame to hear such bad things about Samurai's operation recently. I'm hoping I'll get to go on it in May. Would like one final go before its eventual death!

Reports from people on park today are saying that Samurai was testing during the day today, also apparently it will be ready for the weekend, but this could just be a rumor.

I think the saw trap is a great idea. It Would Need Some sort of appearance from jigsaw however, i guess you could have a video in the queue line. I think the saw idea is a great idea though :lol
